Can somebody explain to me why baraka is so low,
and why flash is no longer number 1?
Recently rented this, and I’m pretty surprised by how functional and fun it is. Way better then the previous MK’s, but still some way to go before it could ever be competitive.
It definitely gets kudos to having the best story mode in any fighter.
It’s better than Battle Fantasia’s? Huh, now this game has piqued my interest…

Baraka isn’t much of a threat with his bare hands. He gains some better stuff with the blades but becomes very unsafe aside from b+1.
As for the Flash, he has two weaknesses compared to the rest of the top tier:
- All of his best moves (3, b+3, Kabal dash) are unsafe.
- He cannot combo off of his breaker. Green Lantern, Shao Khan, and Darkseid all can.
Now then, I would like to ask, why the bump upward for Raiden? And why the huge drop for Batman?
Raiden bumped cuz teleport is just that good.
batman dropped because it was realized that he can’t punish somebody at a range and his game really requires him to get close. He has a good 50/50 but getting close exposes him to his opponents 50/50’s in the process.
baraka can pull out his blades during air combos and fast if cr.hk,
so like b+ lk, hp, cr.hk, to whatever. so can someone post a good combo video for green lantern?

cant get used to GL. at all.
did anybody else figure out how punishing it is to end combos with airgrabs?
it would add normally 15% to the damage of the combo.
Can’t you break throws though? And even if you land one the opponent can tech to reduce the damage to 9%.
Thats the thing, people will rarely expect it.
But since the opponent’s getting hit anyway, they can just mash buttons throughout the combo. This is the reason people don’t combo Tager’s command grab in Blazblue - it becomes breakable.
Besides, a teched throw leaves you in a much worse wakeup position than just doing a standard combo.
I haven’t played too many matches against Superman, but In the space of those matches I had trouble dealing with the fact that Superman has what is essentially a very easy roll catch with ground pound, but Im assuming this is some day one shit. I would like to know what other things people do to weed out superman.
