Interesting new take on Lui Kang, I’m sure it’ll be good tho. And getting the original Shang Tsung was an awesome choice

I like the direction they’re going with Liu Kang, but no matter how many times I see it, I can’t get over him reminding me of Jin Kazama from Tekken 4.

hah didn’t know they got Mark Dacascos as Kung Lao. At least he looks sorta Chinese compared to MK:C. (edit: until he takes off the hat). And still a bad actor, I see.
I must say…what Kevin decided to do with Liu is interesting…
I don’t have many positive things to say about this, overall pretty disappointing, Liu is the best thing about it. I was hoping that leaked clip of Scorpio vs Subzero was just an earlier cut but it’s the exact same scene. Johnny Cage was pretty funny though lol.
Score and visuals varies in quality a lot too. Episode 1 starts off with a night cityscape which looks like it’s been rendered off the xbox360. Then a lot of the episodes have scores that sound like they’ve been lifted off a royalty free audio stock site.
Safe to say Street Fighter Assassin’s Fist will shit all over this 
well to be fair i feel like street fighter has a bigger budget,officially backed by crapcom. it looks like this season got its budget cut in half…not as many big martial arts stars. they had a shit ton in season 1. i havent gone through it all but i enjoyed the scorpian vs sub zero fight…especially the fatality.
choreo wise so far ive seen kenshi aka quantum ranger vs ermac is probably the best one.
they should never have replaced johnny cage…the original actor actually had bits of his real martial arts life infused to the story lol. thats fucked up to not have him on season 2.
it looks like everything is on a shoestring budget…hence the costume problems…subzero is wearing stunt safety gear.
