Just watched the first episode, and I thought it was very well done. Great casting, good action, and good cinematography, at least in my opinion.
Only gripe is that they had a sequence between Kano and Sonya and there was a severe lack of “Allo, baybeh!”. Oh well, can’t have everything. Still very great stuff. Can’t wait for this to continue.
God damn that was bad. I thought MJW was a half way real actor. Why would he do this?

I just got done watching the first episode. It had its issues but overall it was entertaining, especially for twelve minutes. The little references to the series like Kano’s eyeball and the robot ninja helmet in the trash bin were cute. Michael Jai White was a massive showstealer, though.
Wasn’t blown away, but it didn’t suck thankfully. Anyone else spot the crappy looking Scorpion costume in the teaser =/

Thought that ep was quite well done especially for a web series short. Can’t wait to see what the rest of of the episodes will be like.
most likely they filmed it as a feature length then sliced it up into episodes. Premier should have been a 2 part-er
It was ok good to see chad the killer playing Kano…lol. I just want that darker grimey shit from the rebith trailer. I wanna see reptile snacking on heads you know.

just found out a few friends are doin the stunts. so i expect the stunts to be at least decent. i never expect too much out of the mk franchise…mk1 is the only thing that will hold near and dear in my heart.
It was OK. If they can keep this level for the whole series, that’ll be good. But I’m hoping it gets better from here on out.
Nice production value, but the action scenes were pretty lame. Jeri Ryan’s looking… haggard. I didn’t even know that white guy was Stryker until I looked at the cast list. :lol:

I enjoyed it for what it was, an introduction and it’ll be interesting to see how the connections between any of the other characters and rivalries are portrayed without factoring in the tournament.
And I figured the only other notable police official that they showed had to be Stryker, even if they didn’t say his name (maybe they did though and I didn’t hear it). I was expecting him to be wearing a backwards cap though for some reason. lol
I liked it. Don’t wanna show their best stuff right away, had some good violence in it, Jai White was good, I like the Kano, he’s got good energy. Jeri Ryan is indeed gettin up there tho, I think I would have chose someone a bit younger for Sonya but then again you can’t really lose when you have talent like Jeri Ryan.

They really should have released with the first part but overall good episode. Random slow mo in the first and second episodes made no sense. And I also feel they could have picked far better locations for the scenes.
