Ugh,one of the only MK threads worth a damn has degenrated into a cesspool of insults and ridiculous trolls,goes to show how far the mk community has come -_-.But atleast the likes of Hanzo and Prophet have been trying to keep the thread worthwile,and Matt’s been busy beating trolls with a flea infested Stick,Colguile probably abandoned this thread along time ago.

::Yawn:: Once again, I never said I was better than you, Alex. and you’re making a mountain out of a molehill. Objective people have pointed this out before. As you have stated, all you guys who were brought up on MK in a hybrid community over the years in the late 90s had the chance to develope all these “secret tactics” you say no one else uses. Honestly, the money match challenges coming from your side are a copout to just end a conflict that you feel is beneath you, and that is greatly obvious once again to the average reader once again who doesn’t even care about MK, but likes to read drama.

Bottom line is I have gotten more people into MK with combo videos than you have with everything else you’ve tried, like the compedium, Chicago rush down vs that noob, Kung Lao vs drones, MWC match videos(where the only people who knew what they were doing were from Chicago, surprise?). Really it doesn’t even look like you want people to play from how you talk about the game, you just want to secure your position as the best, and if anyone challenges you in any way shape or form, you don’t like it and it comes down to “First to 20 $500” so how does this not focus on you being out for yourself? You didn’t even play in your own tourny because you didn’t think anyone else would play in it. Come on.

Pointing out when you’re wrong is just a reality check on you by the way, I do it to a lot of people whom I find delusional.

It’s still 100000000X better than an MKO thread on MK.

didn’t lex give back to the community with his UMk3 compendium that changed the way many people played/looked at the game? I know it was very useful for the people here in north/central jersey [phi, me, redgouki, etc.] who respect what chicago has done for the game.

face it if lex never came to ECC8 or 7 which sparked so much interest back in the game, everyone would still be doing auto combos which get blocked and other stupid tactics all day.

i’m sure the combo videos you’ve done helped get people back into the scene, but combo videos are really useless if you think about that, they should just be viewed as entertainment and nothing else.

while lex’s videos might not look pretty with all the running jabs and whatever it actually says a lot more than the combo videos or the venezuela matches, face it in almost every game across the board high level matches are boring to watch.

just concede to chicago, they have nothing left to prove, they’re clearly superior at the game due to wavenet + many years of experience, plus most people now just emulate what they do but not as good.
