Lex seems to infer way too much into things. I don’t think I have ever once in the history of shoryuken.com said I was the best, better than, or anything to that affect, but for some reason he takes it that way. There was one time I posted some videos, and Lex said they sucked, and I said his videos didn’t display any type of superiority, and he went off the deepend. After the release of these Venezuela videos, it seems as if Lex’s world is collapsing. I have trained a couple guys online who can beat, not own, not destroy, but can beat Moe and Thrower, one is 17 years old, and I think the fact they can do it at all says something considering they are supposed to be high level MK players, and don’t forget that I can beat them too. However because it’s online, it doesn’t count, it’s not “fair and square”. I’m not attacking Moe and Thrower, in my opinion, Moe is an awesome player, he plays a LOT like the Prophet, but the fact that I can win against these Chicago warriors means the Prophet can beat them as well (according VA logic). So, going by Lex’s logic, and quite honestly it escapes me, his boys aren’t shit either, he is the all supreme lord of UMK3, he exists in the top 100% of players, and is untouchable, then there is a 99%ile that is the rest of Chicago, and then everyone else is somewhere under that. But hasn’t Bill from VA gotten wins over you? He says he has…if that’s true it hurts your position.
It’s quite amazing how little people care about MK in general, yet this constant jumping on people when they want to post videos.

What I don’t understand is, if so few people care about MK, why do this kind of shit? Personally I would like to get some training sessions in specifically against you, and then we can do that challenge, it would be illogical to accept a money match against someone you’ve never played. Oh yeah, we all have to show up for this to happen too since Lex refuses to play online. Why can’t this guy embrace people who want to learn his game? Instead of constantly attacking them. I’ve been reading this from the side lines keeping to myself until now my name came up. I dont take no offense to what you said Matt. First I dont think age has anything to do with learning this game, I was a mere 15 or 16 when I taught myself how to play with different strategies. Of course alot of my strategies had to adapt and change once wavenet came along. Also there was a “10” year old kid we nick named name CHUNK who was awesome at any of the fighting games.
I will admit yes I’ve lost to Mike, but in actuality I do not play seriously on kaillera. I always get 1/4-1/2 second delay on my moves. I cannot even get an aaRH, or uppercuts when I know it should connect. So when I play I just try to do crazy stuff, going for babalities and frienships. Like when we were playing the 3man and I tried to do a jump kick roundhouse in the corner with unmasked sub zero. My favorite thing to do is play with cyrax and let them win one round so I can do bomb Mercy and have the fighter float across the screen.
I agree with why Lex does not play on kaillera. The lag is so bad it just kills the game.
Its just a fun game to learn and play and nothing more than a GAME.

As you have stated, all you guys who were brought up on MK in a hybrid community over the years in the late 90s had the chance to develope all these “secret tactics” you say no one else uses. Honestly, the money match challenges coming from your side are a copout to just end a conflict that you feel is beneath you, and that is greatly obvious once again to the average reader once again who doesn’t even care about MK, but likes to read drama.
Bottom line is I have gotten more people into MK with combo videos than you have with everything else you’ve tried, like the compedium, Chicago rush down vs that noob, Kung Lao vs drones, MWC match videos(where the only people who knew what they were doing were from Chicago, surprise?). Really it doesn’t even look like you want people to play from how you talk about the game, you just want to secure your position as the best, and if anyone challenges you in any way shape or form, you don’t like it and it comes down to “First to 20 $500” so how does this not focus on you being out for yourself? You didn’t even play in your own tourny because you didn’t think anyone else would play in it. Come on.
