I’m… disappointed.
Has the patch come to the US yet? I was reading that it was a few days late at least. Just wanted to make sure before I get MKAK. Looks like loads of fun if the netcode is fixed.

The only place in which you can pre-order MK AK for PC is gamersgate and it says that the date is feb 2nd. Maybe that’s the official date since there is no word from NRS on a release date.

I just bought it off Steam yesterday for $8.49 even though I already have it for PS3 and rarely play it just because I want NetherRealm Studios to know that there is a PC market for fighting games so that they willl make a PC version of MK9. I have SF4: AE for PS3 to play at home, and on PC for playing on the go with my laptop. It would be nice to play MK9 on the go with my laptop.
Hopefully the PC port of MKAK at least turns out better than the PS3 port.

the mk ak for the pc was absolutely horrible. embarressing and broken, they didnt even TRY. apparently some random company named other ocean(the people who brought you great hits such as xmen destiny, sour patch kids and vogue stylist) and i dunno how they did it, but they destroyed what could of been a big hit.
the first day it was up i was excited, while it was downloading i even went and bought a mortal kombat klassic stick so i can play it like i used to in the arcades. my friend was also a fan and he has a fairly big audience and he was gonna stream our matches on twitch and wow… the lag was so bad, youd jump in the air and it would LITERALLY take 5 seconds to hit the ground. oh and also they treat us pc gamers like a 3rd wheel again, no real graphics options, your stuck at what they give you other than changing the style.
when it would work, every now and then, it was damn good, as it should be…all theyre doing is porting a game, which is why im salty about no graphics options. but most of the time it would lag up slow and id just laugh cuz i know i was just playing AE a while ago perfectly. something tells me theyre not gonna do shit about it, and sadly netherrealm is gonna take it as an excuse and say “see THIS is why we wont port it, cuz people pirate it and no one buys it”…
basically, dont get it, get a rom, get mk armageddon on the ps2 and play umk3 on that, do anything but buy this game until they fix it. its unplayable. simple as that.

Ed Boon and many of the other NRS peeps have repeatedly said they will never put MK9 on PC because of piracy.
Have they fixed the online play yet?
