I’d like it to be Alpha 3 or CvS2, but honestly, a good part of my mind is just screaming “SOME IOS GAME BULLSHIT”.

As much as I like CVS2, I wish the scene was more like Melee. Divorce your opinions about the game but fuck did that scene stay with their game hard. Wish MVC2 and other games did also.
I dunno why people want CvS2. That game should of been renamed Street Fighter vs Street Fighter Alpha.
Why any groove beyond N had rolling (and no backwards rolls!) is beyond me, but then I’m just an SNK purist asshole.
Also real men use K-Groove. Alpha 3? All about that X-ISM.
Alpha 2 would be nice though, being the original GGPO supported game and all.

I heard that sengoku game isn’t half bad but I never played it so.
I never played sengoku either, too bad it’s a japanese game only or else I would own it by now.
They need to give the ‘everything plus the kitchen sink’ strategy another go.
How about Hyper Street Fighter Alpha with the Max characters and all stages from the whole series, plus online dramatic battles and custom -isms from the console ports?
Once you looks past the obviously bad productions values, CFE is surprisingly decent.

People really overstate the “brokenness” of A3. It’s cheaper than A2, but still very playable outside of the crouch cancels. Fundamentals are still important.
Alpha 3 with no V-Ism is my dream game.
