Well i cant deny that im a little impressed with the lack of Monster news in the media, mostly all fighting games have at least 99% of the official roster confirmed 2 weeks before the release and there isnt any info about the Arcade release anywhere, i hope that this doesnt hurt the hype, because im a little more interested in how Monster AC goes in the Japanese Arcade scene, the game deserves it badly.

At the moment, the two most anticipated games of 2008 for me are Monster and Blazblue.
I may never get to play Blazblue because I don’t want a PS3. But I can at least play Katze in Monster and pretend that he’s Taokaka.
What about Tatsunoko vs. Capcom?

With the release being a week away, someone should post the (short) list of import stores that will sell the game (and any relevant ordering information). A general store like NCS or Play-Asia likely won’t have it, so… yeah.

You’ll be given the information as it becomes available. A lot of people wish to purchase this game, but that information just isn’t currently available yet. The unveiling of the game will be made during Comiket and more information on both the game and where to purchase it should be made known afterwards. It’s probably a good idea to keep your eyes and ears open for Examu news as well as they might have something to do with distributing the game though I do believe that only the Arcade version is being focused on primarily and the PC version of the game is more of a bonus for us.
As always though, support is always great for the creator.

Don’t mention it, this is a fighting game, not furry land for the fur fetish erotica ancient kingdom animal orgy battle royale. They either like it as a fighter or they can be ignorant and act like it’s actually cool to boycott certain fighters over others =p
Main point? Try it out, no fighting game is 100% going to make everyone happy. The only question is will it make you happy?
P.S. If your friends won’t play, get new friends. Like us or frustratedsquirrel, he will be your friend free of charge.

People should remember that kemono art has been part of Japan’s artistic history for a lot longer than we’ve had furries.
The two fandoms are pretty different. Monster isn’t a furry fighting game. A furry fighting game would be full of winged foxes and overpowered dragons. And most everything would be wonton suggestive.
And the art style would probably suck.

The game has reached the final homestretch I hope everyone is ready. I know I know i am. All week will be a busy one for me making sure everything is perfect with the game.

What are you guys doing about pirating?
I’m sure it wouldn’t take long for someone to crack the game and release a pirated copy via torrents.
Well, really, what CAN they do? Copy-protecting the disk some how would just give them a few more extra days, until some one finds out how to crack that protection too.
If people are going to pirate, they’re going to do so. But everybody who really wants to support the game will also find means to do as such. That’s pretty much all that can be said.
To be honest, it’s gonna happen. Why waste time fighting it when it really doesn’t matter with a release like this. Real fans will support if they especially if they wish to continue receiving updates and support from the developers for the game.
