Well if you would have actually read the rules before you clicked ok, to enter GD, this wouldnt even be a concern. The rules havent changed in over a year, you can also access them by clicking on the rules link in the navigation bar up top.
How we choose to inforce the rules on SRK is at our discretion, whether we choose to warn you up front, ban you, close the thread, or infraction you, it really shouldnāt be any concern of yours. Dont break the rules and we wont have to use the methods listed within.

Hereās how I see video threads (note that this is only how I handle threads with videos and that other mods/admin may not handle them this way):
-If you post it in the Video Thread, no problem.
-If you post a relevant (or even irrelevant) video in a pre-existing thread, itās probably not a problem.
-If you post a thread with a link to a video, along with a relevant, associated article and your own comments, itās also probably not a problem. At worst, I might close the thread and/or give you a warning.
-If you post a thread with a link to a video and nothing else, Iāll close the thread and maybe give you an infraction/warning.
-If you post porn, youāre banned.
