Yes, I know using Cthulhu does not need solder.
But he not mention Cthulhu.
So there is soldering.
You agree?
I agree, if he doesn’t want to replace the pcb.
I was just offering an alternative :[
Very nice where did u get the template for the stick an will u be using plexi glass for the art ?
nice. Did you ever post that in the check out my new stick thread? I’m surprised I missed it here.
kitsuniisan sent his to arthong to make Template and Custom Acrylic Panel.
arthong is super busy to release.
^I need one!!!
ok so I finally have the extra funds to order my JLF and had a question
I’m getting the JLF with microswitches and just wanted to ask about how many QDs(4 or 8) and how much wire. also wondering if I could get a diagram or something so I know where to solder the new wires. more than likely I was just going to write down what switch went to which point on the PCB, but a little info ahead would be appreciated
sorry if this has been answered:
has anyone ever dual modded with a PS2 PCB (hrap2, etc) with the original fs3 pcb?
Just connect PlayStation 2 +3.3V to PlayStation 3 +5V.
Just connect PlayStation 2 Ground to PlayStation 3 Ground.
Just connect PlayStation 2 Button Signal to PlayStation 3 Button Signal.
Just connect PlayStation 2 Directional Signal to PlayStation 3 Directional Signal.
how about an answer to my question
pretty sure I need 8 QDs & probably 2ft of wire yeah??
Eight.
jdm is a monster!
thanks, another question lol… i felt my other friends hrap 2 and just tried out another friends stock madcatz SE… it feels as though it’s easier to hit diagonals and smoother overall (hrap 2 joystick could’ve been swapped to a seimitsu), could this be because my sanwa stick sits high?
how much feet in wire should i get for wiring my JLF?
Could be. If you kept it, the original shaft from your FS3 fits into the JLF.
dont i need to use all of the hori stick’s parts?

Thanks to everyone’s help on this thread, I successfully modded my own stick! Even though it’s just some new buttons, a bat top, and an octagonal gate, I think it looks and feels great now!
Very clean! Did you paint the top panel?
Yeah, I used black appliance spray paint so it wouldn’t chip.
