I was under the strange impression that screwing the JLF in got in the way of the gate for some reason. I knew that was weird, thanks for clearing it up.
Well, I also got an LS-32-01 into a Fighting Stick 3. I mounted it to the plastic, not the metal. I put a JLF in my last FS3 mod, so I wanted to try out an LS-32. I didn’t realize how tall the shaft was.
It sure as hell wasn’t easy. I ground down the inside of the FS3 case, the top of the LS-32 plastic and cut a hole in the metal bottom.
Pics attached.

Hey, I was wondering if anybody has had experience dual-modding a 360 pcb into a fs3? Been thinking about doing that and didn’t know if it was possible to reuse the fs3 pcb. Thanks
JMro- nice, thats the first ls32 ive seen in an fs3. Im not saying its the first, just the first one ive seen when scanning through this thread randomly. Did you say you had to cut a hole in the bottom metal plate?
I did. I can post pics of the bottom later

Step 1 of my first ever stick mod. I figure I’ll start with this then work on adding in an Anji Mito template and potentially a cthulhu PCB down the line once I’m comfortable with modding.
Yeah, I finished mine, I’m sure theres pics of it somewhere, it’s pretty nice. I need to get a tighter spring though
Can you advise me something ?
I want to change PCB in FS3 (my ps3 doesn’t like any arcade sticks for some crazy reasons).
Should i use PCB from dual shock 1 (i got SCPH-1200 A model) or from a dual shock 2 ?
Consult the PCB list http://slagcoin.com/joystick/pcb_wiring.html#PCB_DIAGRAMS
I’d also highly endorse a chuthulu PCB.
is there anyway to remove the 2 pieces of metal on the mounting plate for the buttons without using a dremel tool? I’m thinking about modding but do not have dremel tools, and they seem somewhat expensive.
on a side note, anyone around walnut experienced with modding?
Thx for help.
But Cthulu while probably being best seems like everkill to 50 euro stick with stock parts. So maybe sometime in future when i decide to replace buttons and joystick.
Hmm if i gotten sisaxis pcb would it be possible to make the stick as wireless without problems ? Or would that be lot more complicated ?
Very nice mod. Just shows that anything will fit in these things if you’re creative enough. ;D

Hi guys,
I’ve been dying to make a stick for ages and i’m in japan till friday but i took some pics in a shop that sells sticks and buttons today if you’re interested
there’s part numbers beside em so you can see what they look like
they’re all genuine sanwa and seimitsu sticks and buttons.
the fotos are kinda hi rez so you can zoom in to the part numbers if you download em
ps. played 4 in the arcade today for 3 hours (just for my irish kinfolk who gotta get a plane to play in the arcade)
Metal file.
I actally have a non-Dremel brand rotary tool that I use. It’s a GMC (General Machinery Company) brand rotary tool. They sold it at Lowes next to the dremels, though I’m not sure if they still sell them. I’d definitely suggest getting some sort of rotary tool though they are handy for all types of projects.
Edit: I already desoldered pcb from hori fs3 opefully i can manage connecting all the wires to DS1 pcb today.
But I have a question :
http://www.arcadeshop.de/Sanwa-Joysticks-Sanwa-Bat-Top-LB-30N-blau_816.html
would such battop work with stock Hori FS3 joystick ?
WHY ARE THESE SHOPS NOT IN THE US?!? I would love to just walk in and brows around for parts. :wow:
dude, if there was a shop like that in the USA they would have to have that hoe on lock down. So many people would jack parts.
I would be in heaven if i went there. Look at those prices. thats how seimitsu sticks are supposed to be priced. You have to buy ls32, ls56 etc all at the same $25 price in the states. I understand the reasons behind it though.
Mrbungle- at any point while you were in the store, did the japanese clerks happen to catch you with your pants down??? j/k
Out of curiosity, what’s the name of that shop and where is it located at?

Hey all, I have a work in progress. I’ve replaced the square gate with an octo and gave it a lexan top. Got some semeitsu buttons and a clear balltop coming in but lizardlick’s been backordered like a month.
I really want to try my hand at padhacking a 360 pcb in there but a) doesn’t look like theres enough room and b) picking up a madkatz 360 controller is only slightly less expensive than getting a used hori ex2.
Anyways, thoughts?
