That shit is nice man, good fucking work!!!
good god, should have just gotten an hss-0130 and call it a day
player 1 faces the monitor head on and player faces it at an angle
i concur; the bottom is very detracting at the moment.
besides that, the construction and ingenuity is wonderful!
I noticed that the super glue is able to make the plastic clear. I think it’s because it creates a new smooth surface. Any other thing that will have the same property?
Here’s the artwork btw:

*Newbie question :*
I’m sorry for this newbie question. How are you able to make the artwork appear beneath the button? Is it a skeleton button, artwork over the button and then a clear cover over the button? Please elaborate for me, I’m sort of retarded.

Its all in the photo log… Remove the plunger (which is clear), insert the art, then fit everything again
where did you buy the adhesive plastic film?
can you put some Sanwa OBSF-30? and what if i just want to change the buttons, and keep with the pcb’s there?
wow awesome job just awesome. i have this stick also that i wanted to take a crack at. now that i have seen what u did i might do something with it after all. you da best!
That’s gotta be the most hardcore mod to a twin stick I’ve ever seen… just incredible. You’re very talented!
I bought the blaze twin for modding and its on its way. I wished I found this forum before I ordered my sanwa parts.
Any hoo, does any one know if there’s a SANWA or SEIMITSU model that will fit on the blaze twin shock without modding the twin shock enclosure?
I don’t have the skills to fit a plexiglass or arcrylic nor do I want to cut holes under the joystick.
thanks in advance.
Where did you buy the blaze twin stick? I hope your not the guy that just outbid me on ebay!

Wasn’t me rcaido. :lovin:
No worry.
Laugh.
Man were these not going for about $20 awhile back…If i cant find one i guess im going to have build it from scratch…
anyhoo, i found out that the JLF is only 1mm longer than LS-33 from mounting plate to bottom of the shaft.
However i found this tutorial.

The JLF will only stick out a little bit so I will cut out a hole on the bottom and put a very low profile dome over the hole… hopefully the rubber feet will be long enough so that the arcade stick will sit still.
I got so lucky. You guys are going to hate me. I found one of these in a thrift store for the price of $7.99 about 2 months ago. Granted there was a chipped dustwasher, and the player 1 buttons where sticky.
I just gutted it and am waiting on my crown buttons and JLF to come in. I had one set of crown screw ins and they fit in perfectly and have about 3 mm of clearance. 24 mm buttons fit on top.
wow thats a sweet twin stick, great job!
hey I’ve seen these sanwa and seimitsu panels for arcade cabinets.

Does anyone know if any shop sells wooden enclosures for home use?
For example like in this link?

Hrmmm if no shop sells it would anyone be interested making an order to a local wood shop? Let me know - sure beats the heck out of blaze twin with crazy hacks.
this mod rocks!
