Does anyone know how to do that Dive kick close to the ground?
I just do a jump + dive kick. If I wanna jump back dive kick I do qcb+ub in 1 motion. You gotta delay your button press until she leaves the ground.
And if your looking to do any of those things I suggest spending time in the lab alone and trying some stuff out. Then going to the board to find stuff out.
by doing what they call tiger knee motion. I forgot how it was.
QCB,UB kick. You have to sightly delay the kick so you can’t make it really instant like other tiger knee motions. You press kick when Juri is off the ground basically.
I find it’s easier with negative edge (you hold down the kick button you want), do the motion and let go of kick.
Motion is jumping up and doing the motion simultaneously and then the button. You should try to just start slow and just neutral jump and dive kick and get used to that motion first. once you feel you’re confident start to speed it up and you go from there. After you master the motion you can start working on jump forward ia dive kick and back jump ia dive kick. Trust me it helps with fucking tools who like to mash fucking jab or sweep.

I just have a quick question.
What are the specific button inputs for teleport forward EX Counter, teleport back EX Counter, and teleport up EX Counter?
Right now I’m only getting the teleport up EX Counter, no matter what button I press (maybe I need to experiment with it more).
Also, is there any advantage to using the teleport forward and back EX Counter compared to their normal versions other than faster startup? I know that the teleport up EX Counter will allow you to move and choose which side to crossup on.
Joystick direction decides teleport direction, not buttons.
Okay i know this will sound dumb, but I picked Juri up a little while ago and this is the first time I’ve had trouble encountering this.
What are you supposed to do when someone is charging a level 3 meaty focus attack when you have no meter? I try to backdash, even ex pinwheel, and im still eating it. Please help.
standing mk, both far version and close version are double-hitters. Or lk pinwheel, which hits twice. But you shouldn’t allow him to charge a lv3 in the first place, I mean what do you do with your old character?
Cant they just be thrown? Isnt focus attack throwable all the way until the end?
a meaty focus attack can be backdashed, a non meaty will probably catch the backdash. Unfortunately its a very legit mixup against Juri, thank God many people dont do it because its somewhat annoying to deal with.
Far standing mk, the best move in the world, requires spacing to get two hits. a meaty focus will rape and counter hit juri as it forces a recovery from her if the move isn’t spaced correctly.
Also if someone is focusing walk up and grab them, walk up and st.lk them to death, or ia dive kick (probably the best thing to do in that situation because it armor breaks, pushes them in the corner and does more damage).
I’ve been seeing Juri replay and they jump a lot it’s kinda annoying. Haven’t been playing lately due to college this weekend it’s time for hyperbole time chamber I wanna reach that Juri level we’re you see your opponent death before your they’re very eyes. Are their lot of good Juri players on XBL?

theres times reading through these posts and being completely lost to the intention eventhough I know exactly what you’re saying
whens the last time you’ve entered a tournament with all your ‘knowledge’?
have you tried looking up any local scenes where you live?
being on a forum, spewing data from a familiar avatar is a hell of alot different than being in the mix and among the real life community
I know I suck donkey ass but entering tournaments pays off more than anything

Focus is throwable all the way up to when it hits you, since throws win against attacks on the same frame.
Also, frame data isn’t really that important with Juri since nothing really gives her a massive advantage, and the only ch combo she benefits from is c.mp, c.lk, unfortunately.
if you’re going to study frames, study those of other characters you’ll gain more from that.
