How so? I was born in 1991, and didn’t know about the blue-bomber until I was 11, and I hate the games.
This av was made for me and looks incredibly bad-ass. Don’t lump me in with the die-hard MM fans, as I’ve beat them off with internet-text-constructed sticks during most of the MvC3/UMvC3 entry period.
Fortunately or unfortunately, this is the go to MLP discussion page as ponies are banned from GD. The pony aspect will see plenty of discussion even with FiM dead and buried.
Regarding Mane 6’s new game though, I am slowly warming up to the idea, really want to see some more content though.

I’m sure a title change will be due whenever a new title for the game is decided upon. Furthermore, I would agree that the title still fits as this is somewhat of the local thread for MLP related things.
With the new characters, and world in general, still in the building process, I think it might be a little time yet before we see a major unveil. Maybe sometime later in the summer we’ll see more is my guesstimate. I’ve currently got some pretty high hopes for the project as a whole and am seriously looking forward to watching its progression.
Shame to see it go dark, I think the continued amount of interest in playing and watching the leak, even with its issues, after the C&D certainly speaks to how much fun MiF was shaping up to be, which only gets me more excited for the future of the current project. I’m still kind of on the fence about the ‘rebuilds’ and mods, if just because it seems like legally slippery territory to me.
As far as MLP-related stuff goes, anyone else keeping up with the IDW comic series? Without giving away too much, I feel like the latest arc seems to be going in an interesting direction with some material that I think I remember Lauren Faust hinting about a long time ago, and I have to wonder if any of the plot was at all adapted from some of her ideas for the future of the series.
I’ve been reading the comic, loving what they’re doing with it. Even the micro series sort of picked up after falling sort of flat with Twilight’s issue.
I really like that the main series lets us get the adventure content, with the extended story arcs the first two episodes showed the series could be. Plus more information on the Changelings and more recently Nightmare Moon is always welcome.
Can’t wait to see how this arc wraps up.
What is that supposed to mean? Attempt at what? Stating that if Mane6 had finished the game, all the broken things you see in those videos wouldn’t exist? Saying no one should focus on the fact that the game Mane6 is working on is not ponies anymore?
People should love it for Mane6 and what they’ve did, and continue to love what it will become down the line, and instead of focusing on what it could have been. That’s my point.

Honestly, aiming for 6 characters is no doubt for the best. I’d just go on from there and hope for the best.
To the best of my knowledge, Mr.Roflbiscuits (http://www.twitch.tv/mrroflbiscuits) was running and streaming weekly tournaments of the Fighting is Magic leak on MTSP. There were also tournaments showcasing modded versions of the leak. It eventually got to the point where tournament participation was low and the same people were winning every week, so the hype kind of died. Therefore, the stream will go dark until a better modded (read: polished and with more content) version of the leak gets released.
Its FIGHTING GAME Discussion forum, not SERIES discussion forum. And for the last posts people where talking about the game itself. Its kinda annoying thinking that something about the game has been updated and I see talking about the mlp comics or cartoons…
This is the only MLP thread allowed on SRK, if the mods on GD would allow it there (and the savages that populate GD would behave), I’d gladly take my discussion of the comic as well as the main series elsewhere and just come here for FiM/Mane6 Game 2 discussion, but I doubt that would be the case.
If it came down to it and this thread was absolutely restricted to fighting game only content, I will absolutely fall in line, but right now this is the only place I can talk pony.
I’m still wondering how these characters will look like. I can’t wait to find out!!!
