Wow, considering I can’t get through the description without wanting to smash my head into a wall, I doubt the story itself would be at all worth reading.
I’ve been meaning to ask the Dev team but I haven’t had enough time to do so. I wanted to ask if there’s any possibility that for super animations, you could have a throwback to the old MvC games where it would show artwork as the super flash?
I think it’s a very neat idea and I absolutely love the art for this game but I have no idea if you can implement it.
That would be a really cool idea. Like, special splash images for each character when they’re performing a super. If you’re feeling really masochistic, a different splash for each special.
They mention having thought about an original fighting game, in case Hasbro complains / after this one. That’s very interesting imo, the team is extremely talented.
I wonder if it would be an original take on ponies (change style a tiny bit, no cutie marks, original characters - should be legally sound), or something completely different and more human-y. Either one would be good of course.
So I came into this thread to see how this community is reacting to the recent news or whatever about the game and. . . . REALLY? You’re trolling me right? You’re just fucking with me, you have to be. The show’s TARGET DEMOGRAPHIC IS LITTLE GIRLS, yes they’re going to fucking WRITE IT FOR LITTLE GIRLS. If you came to this show for some incredibly well written characters that aren’t 1-Dimensional, then this isn’t the show for you. I’m not coming here to start trouble or anything but this post just. . . . I can’t even.
HeeHee, all these comments are so fun.
I love how Jay was messing with the people in the articles comments.
“Well the comments here are 12 class levels above the gamespot ones… thanks guys!”
Wooosh!
Before raging on the internet, always do a proper irony/sarcasm scan.
And the characters in MLP have more dimensions than most “grown up” media, imo… I absolutely hated Rarity at first, but as she developed I started to identify with her and find her faults funny and endearing (Suited For Success was probably the big turning point). She’s now my favorite character by far. An emotional 180 on that character, can’t remember the last time that happened.
The extreme difficulty of deciding which pony you like the least is testament to how well written they are.
