‘No news is good news’ is how the saying goes, but not from what I’ve experienced: no news leads to even more no news which leads to a Tweet saying the group broke up, or there will be a 3 month delay (same as saying it’s over), etc.
The lack of discussion of the series on the thread is… intriguing
How so? We knew that Season 3 was coming, but now this epic game looks like it may be falling off the edge of the earth.
The status of the games development is more important than taking sides on whether or not Twilight becoming an alicorn will destroy the series entirely.

There’s been general silence because as per usual a lot of the work has been under the hood, and with the leak out there, people are already drowning in general gameplay footage/discussion. We’ve hit many major snags that have straight up killed other projects, but I assure you we’re still going strong. We’ll have a more interesting update for you guys whenever possible, but besides the many hours of CLG footage, there’s not much that’d be worth it just yet. It’s just kind of hard to top a full on commentated tournament of the game that also introduced the first version of a whole new character!
Sorry for any worry caused. We’re just focusing extra hard on finishing this thing.

Haven’t been keeping up with the new episodes… is it bad?

No, it isn’t bad. It’s actually off to a pretty good start.
Thing is, unless something super special happens with the show (like the appearance of a new villain), I’m guessing the people here want to focus on talking about the game. And… I’m afraid there isn’t much to talk about at the moment. The team is working on a LOT of stuff that just isn’t showable at this time, but it’s going.
The thing I’m confused about is Fluttershy’s theme. My current assumption is that progress on the game itself, at this point, should have absolutely no impact on the song’s progress. My guesses are that Whitetail is very busy at the moment (I’ve been checking on his soundcloud, and he looks quite busy), the devteam is specifically telling him not to release the song at this point, or he’s hung up on getting some specific parts of the song absolutely right (And I would know. You would think that 7 months would be more than enough time to write the song, but from my experience working on a research proposal for a similar amount of time, as I can only work on it in my spare time outside of work, some things can take a LONG time to get right.)
Eh, don’t feel bad. I haven’t even seen the first episode of season 3 yet. Talk about being a dedicated fan huh?
Why not just bring back Trixie?!?!?!?!?

Opener was so-so. It had it’s moment, but the villain was lame.
Then Too Many Pinkies was good.
Then a CMC episode, sigh.

What i didn’t like about this last ep was that is just another anibullying shit that is so popular this days, that by itself is not a problem, but the fact that the QMC feel remorse juts to try to get revenge?
I know, i know, is a kids show and they are trying to teach them how to be good people, but being good doesn’t mean that you should act like a bitch.
The opener season was ok, sadly Sombra didn’t have too much development as a character
Too many pinkies was good, i liked that it put another facet of Pinky that is not explored
As for the upcoming episode, i didn’t really care about Trixie, so meh
There’s some episodes I question there morals.
I think the one about Rainbow Dash a while back in season 1 when she was trying to do the sonic rainboom, I actually didn’t like the fact she won that flying contest thing. It would been a better moral if she had failed and explained the efforts of trying may just not be enough.
It’s like The Simpsons episode where Bart was failing 4th grade and he had to repeat the grade again if he continued failing (old episode, I know). It was a good episode cause he failed even tho he tried soooo fuckin’ hard. I feel like most TV shows are afraid to tackle the issue without the moral sound a bit… “off”? I dunno.
And fuck you for not liking Trixie, piece of shit!
