Welp, I see that everyone is upset over the leak, personally I don’t care. Wasn’t really interested in the game before, and after playing the leak, don’t like how the game feels in general, this build is busted, probably not going to play the final version.
BUT you guys should be having fun with it. What’s done is done and you aren’t going to fix anything by NOT playing it, you might as well get some games in now.

I’ve played it online for quite a bit now, very fun, and looking forward to the full release.

I might try out the leaked one in a while. Not sure if its worth it for me without RBD though.
I don’t really know what to say, other than thank you once again for the work you’ve put into the game, and I am very excited to play the final release. The work (obviously, considering the leaked ones popularity :/) is not going unappreciated 
Just remember that sons of bitches like this are a small minority compared to people who are excited for the game and would never do anything to hurt the dev team’s efforts.
This is horrible, I can’t believe this/these testers would do this. I personally will wait for the final product, I know it will kill me inside knowing there is a version of this game out there but I can’t do it this isn’t what you intended to happen. Just a few question if you don’t want to answer thats fine I understand. Will this effect any coverage that you guys were planning for canterlot gardens like of the tournament? Will this affect the theme song like Rainbow Dash’s or the Title theme to be delayed from the intial time you were planning to. I know that you may not have the answers but a response would help out if you read this Jay. Again sorry about what happen.

You can play it if you want. The people in this thread more than anyone should know how unfinished a fighter is with only 4 of the 6 planned characters and even the characters in there receiving constant updates week after week.
Wow out of all the actual legit 100% combos that there are in our broken build, you make a video of a 3 hit combo? Good effort though, glad to see you’re enjoying it
Oh yeah I forgot to answer. Canterlot Gardens, this is actually one of the most affected parties, and that makes us real sad. We promised an exclusive tournament at CLG but with our stillborn baby floating around in the sewers after being flushed down the toilet, anyone could set up a crappy tournament with it and we couldn’t do much about it. Of course we planned to have a lot more in our CLG build, but this can’t be a good feeling for the organisers. It will still be the first official tournament but I think a lot of the shine has been taken off now thanks to the leak. RD’s theme is waiting on me to do the splash art. I can’t exactly say I’m motivated to get it out to our fans right now but I don’t think it’ll be delayed too much. Title theme I dunno, that was one of those other things we wanted to save for later but not sure what we’ll do with it now.
And eh, it happened. It didn’t ruin anyone financially, but it’s taken a certain glow off things. We’ll just have to take it in good humour.

Yeah, funny thing, I didn’t know how any of the teching worked in the game since it’s not really explained anywhere except the one post on the website that I didn’t see until after I made the video. I was actually sad that it’s not a legit combo, because projectile juggles are fun and that was the only thing I was having fun with.
No worries, there are projectile juggles, just avoid using the middle gem anywhere but at the end of a combo as it has very low hitstun. play around with just the forward and backward ones for a bit (We show one application in our combo video linked earlier in the thread)
I gotta say, Mane6 is handling this like fucking champs. Respect.
My only advice is don’t deviate from your plan too much. The communities that happen to intersect here for the most part respect these kinds of boundaries. So if you were going to do something then please do it.
On another note, I’m enjoying this “broken mess.” I’m not the hugest fan of how but the analyst in me gets a chance to get hands on with a game that I probably wouldn’t be able to otherwise. So I’ll analyze it for what it represents with the know that you guys will push out one hell of a final product.

Pros weren’t really worth the cons here - an already outdated, broken game or weekly BSU updates as we wait for new footage at CG? I think I would’ve rather had the latter.
Well, I hope the leaker is pleased with himself, knowing he screwed patient people out of their updates, but other than that, it is what it is I guess.
I’m just glad it won’t affect the project all that much… and I suppose some people will enjoy themselves.
I myself don’t have much desire to play a unfinished unsupported version of the game at this moment. I’m glad you devs are making the most of it though, good on you. Keep on trucking.
Agreed. I’d say proceed with the BSU’s as planned. No need to punish the real fans for the actions of one dishonest tester. Can’t wait for Rainbow Dash’s theme.
I concur. You should still continue BSU’s for people who don’t want to play the leaked version.

Anyways, hosting a tournament this weekend with the Alpha build of this game. We’re thinking of banning Twilight Sparkle because she’s stupid.
