Im looking forward to this game. been waiting and wanting to play it for a while.

I always have trouble getting into new fighters.
It’s a shame that one of your testers had to be a scumbag and ruin BSU for everyone… I mean, the bright side is that the hype for the game is only going to get stronger with more people now able to test it out. However, considering Mane6 isn’t really getting any money or anything from this and all of the time you guys put into it is for the love of ponies and fighting games, I felt bad enough to not bother downloading the leaked evo build. I got to play this build at Evo and that was good enough for me, so I can wait for whatever updated build you guys DECIDE to make public (if at all).
I hope you guys change your mind about the BSU, and hopefully you find better, more trustworthy testers next time around.
Also, sick 3 hit combo JohnGrimm. Good job trying to find something wrong for a quick laugh, only to show everyone that you found an invalid combo because you can’t bother to read up on the subsystems implemented, as if the developers couldn’t realize that looping gems or infinite air loops would be an issue in their own engine.
I wasn’t doing it for a quick laugh, I was doing it because I thought it was cool, and I would have read how the combo system worked if I could have easily found it anywhere. Besides, if I find anything wrong with the game I post it because I want it to be fixed. I might not care for the game, but that doesn’t mean the people who do can’t have the best possible game. Good job being a dick after jumping to conclusions, as if I would just come into a thread so I can post “hahahahaha the leaked unfinished alpha build of your game has problems.”
Excuse me? When you come into an established thread full of people that like and support a game, start off by saying “hurrr im not really interested in this game i dont like the way it feels so i downloaded the leak you guys are mad about lol its busted” and follow up by posting retarded invalid combo videos with sarcastic comments like “welp” and “and you thought SFxT gems were bad”, what is anyone supposed to think?

God forbid I have an opinion. Even the devs are saying this build has problems, but when I say it I’m being an asshole. Also, if you would have bothered to look at my other videos instead of just looking for material to jump to conclusions with, I put sarcastic comments in a LOT of my videos, even for games I absolutely love. Hell, one of my favorite recent fighters I don’t even call by the actual name of the game because it’s more fun to use the terrible Google translation.
So yeah, I said I’m not really interested in the game and I don’t like how it feels because I don’t. That doesn’t mean I can’t try to find the issues in the game so it’ll be better in the final build. You can stop being upset over nothing now.
To be fair to people who don’t know you it did kinda look like what he said. Also considering the leak people are a bit edgy so you could do without the sarcastic tone, to avoid misunderstandings like this.
There’s no taunt function in this build, But as AJ you can just spam HCF+Magic when you have less than 2 magic to mess with your opponent, in fact spamming magic moves when you have no magic works for all characters…

Well technically it’s not piracy or anything, Mane6 if I’m not mistaken never intended to sell the game. It’s maybe just not the most morally acceptable thing considering it IS still a leak, however the damage has been done and it seems like Mane6 is really just letting it be.
Well, yeah… it IS stolen content. We own all the assets even if we don’t own the right to sell them. They were under an NDA (signed) so anything that isn’t controlled by us is stolen in the real sense of the word. Even if we DIDN’T own the right to redistribute the assets, Hasbro would. So either way it’s most definitely not legal.
We’re fine with people playing it but we can’t exactly ENDORSE the spreading of it.

Not sure if this is a glitch or anything but if you hit someone with your launcher and jumpcancel it quickly on hit, you should be able to follow up alot faster than the standard way. Pinkie Pie for an example with her # 1 Glove Launcher and its properties. If she jump cancels fast enough, she can Party Press whiff and #1 Glove again for a weird loop or possibly infinite. Haven’t really tried going for more reps since it does require execution.

Pinkie’s j.B and j.C are probably her best ones. Haven’t found any use for Cartwheel yet. Has anyone been getting random crossups when finishing an Air combo with C for Twilight Sparkle?

I’m not sure if that’s a good thing or a bad thing. Anyways, Nappy showed up sometime apparently. I never got to play him though.

Ok had a question about one of the menus. For any of you does the game select menu not show up when you click on it. It won’t give me the option to change stages, rounds and so forth. Is there anything extra you need for it or is it just my computer or something. I played it at a friends and it gave him the option, just wanted to see what the problem is.
