I read it on the wiki, but it seems pretty legit, given that it’s from either the cracked demo or a few other sources. I think the next big reveal will probably be either Smoke, Sheeva, or Quan Chi, though.

Robot Smoke is in the running for the first DLC character. The others eligible are Tanya, Rain, Shinnok, and Kenshi, I think.

Keep in mind that just because the game disc has the character data on it doesn’t mean they’ll be playable.
A character could be included in that data if they are featured in an in game cinematic or are there in case NRS wants to add them later via DLC.
Remember what Ed Boon said about bringing the feeling of the old arcade days back? Hidden text messages and secrets in the game data that never existed…

I really miss Sub Zeros Old fighting stance, his pimp hand was strong.
Idk it would be pretty dumb not to have Kintaro playable in this game along side the Shokan prince.

They have Arcade Ladder ending text in the data, just like the playable characters.
What makes you say/think that? I’ve seen Goro crushing Jacks head in the subway stage, if he was unplayable then wouldn’t you fight him on a Boss type level I.E. Goro’s Lair, but then again they could have just been testing stuff with him on some random picked stage.
I could understand if Sho Kahan where un-playble but not Goro and Kintaro, dat would be stupid.
If Goro isn’t playable then Kintaro is. If Kintaro isn’t playable then Goro is.
Atleast that’s how I see it.
^If I had to take an educated guess on which of the two would be playable it would be Goro while Kintaro plays the role of the un-playble sub boss.
If any of the boss characters are playable, they better not be as broken as they were in MKT. It would be so cool to main Goro knowing that I can’t just cheese my way to victory.
^But that is the Shokan way.

I personally would like goro and Shao Kahn playable and balanced, with the overpowered non-playable boss roles filled by Kintaro and Motaro, although the latter probably won’t happen.
