I’m hoping the Online quality is good, with no “Full Retard” features. Please. This is the one MK in a decade (minus MKvDC) that’s shaping up to be good, and online is almost everything to me. Please don’t fuck that up besides normal lag, NRS.

Does anyone know if preorders for the tournament edition are still being taken in store at bestbuy or gamestop? I wasn’t sure if each store is allowed a certain number of preorders regardless of online sales?
Most gamestops are done taking pre-orders on the TE bundle. I think you have to order online if you want one now.

lol…Kratos and QTE in MK. admittedly, it would be strange of Ed to pass up a blatant cross marketing opportunity. i gotta hand it to him. he’s always been able to make money because he knows exactly how to entice the general public to continue to buy his games. anyway, Kratos aside, i wonder what made him decide to go in the opposite direction (or so he claims) with MK 9 when Capcom seems to be copying straight from the old playbook he’s been using for years.

It seems there’s a couple confirmed and announced characters we have practically no footage of. I can only think of three things happening in any footage I’ve seen of Sindel:
- Spitting a fireball
- The last second of her fatality
- Getting her ass beat in someone else’s video
Jade and Baraka are pretty similar, too, only seen one fatality and half an X-ray out of them. I think we’ve seen one combo out of Shang Tsung and Stryker, and half Stryker’s X-ray. Kind of bums me out there’s so little, especially when Liu Kang, Noob, and Kratos come out and it’s all “Here’s a shitload of footage!” Or maybe I’m just the only one on the planet psyched for Sindel… Oh well, maybe it’ll start popping up soon, it seemed like it took forever to get some good Ermac footage.
Also, is it just me, or has there not been any Nightwolf footage in a long time? I sometimes forget he was one of the original character reveals.
Buddy, I feel you. Stryker, Sindel, Jade, Baraka and Kitana get no love. I’m especially dissapointed in that since I’m very interested in taking Stryker in as my main. Hopefully we don’t have to wait until launch (or the inevitable game leak a week before release) to see some concrete footage.
Lol only played MK1, 2 & 3 and haven’t played those games in the longest. Nor have I journey out side of those 3 games, so I downloaded the Demo and man it took me back. and as soon as I saw Goro’s portrait I was like yo, head exploded then when i got up to em bam trailers and sh8t, Mayne what a tease.
Im hyped, for this game.

Can anyone tell me if Kintaro has been confirmed, leaked or what have you, I’d love to see both my favorite Shokan playable in this game.
Kintaro’s definitely in the game. I don’t remember off the top of my head if he’s playable though.
I’ve got a feeling he won’t be. If Goro and Kintaro are in the same game, I wager that Kintaro will be the unplayable/banned boss character.
I mean, I never played the very first MK, but Kintaro really feels like a boss where I never got that vibe from Goro. That, and the way that Goro looks in this new MK seems to give off the vibe that he won’t be very boss-like, and he’ll actually be playable in tournaments. I could be wrong, but we’ll see.
I’m pretty sure Kintaro was on the leaked roster, along with Sheeva AND Goro.
