People on 'Faqs speculating it could be human Smoke’s look for MK9 (as well as some sort of dragon/lizard thing). Thoughts?
Human smoke is a likely candidate as he is wearing his colors (red seems to be the battle damage areas), but in that Raiden video that had smoke in the background, we couldn’t see his hair like that picture shows. Actually now that I think about it, it may be an alternate costume, that’d make sense. The costume is right, looks just like the UMK ninja costumes with the squares along the torso.

Liu Kang Fatality?
Looks like “classic Smoke” in the Raiden trailer or perhaps just a generic ninja jobber minion. At least, thats what I would think.
Liu Kang has a dragon in his fatality? If so, that could explain the dragon/lizard render.
EDIT: Derp, youtubed it. Liu Kang definitely dragonizes in older games, cool. Never knew that. I’m still catching up on all this MK stuff, lol. Goes back to MK Wiki

I haven’t played true MK game since MKII on my Sega Genesis, bro (I’m not counting MkvDC due to the DC aspect). I’m trying to catch up on like 11 years of MK stuff here! I wasn’t even aware of 70% percent of the characters listed on this wiki, let alone Animalities, Babalities or Friendships up until like, a month ago.
