Ed Boon recently said if you see somebody online with the prize you’ll know they kick ass, my guess is that it’s costumes or even fatalities things like that.

I think Boon implied in one of the video interviews that went up that the reward for finishing Challenge tower is something that can be seen. As in, an outfit or something. I doubt they’d throw up all this hype over just an outfit (and they could easily have a bundle reward with other stuff too), but that’s all I can think of.
Well, Shalolin Monks gave us MKII, for completing the Smoke Missions. One could hope.

If MK9 ends up being all that, will SRK make a dedicated MK9 subforum, with character threads and the like? Or are those fixings reserved for Capcom fighters?
I hope they show MK some love, and not just pander to only Capcom at this point. Spreading the love to the entire scene is what is going to make it so fighters don’t go back to near death for the next 10 years again.

Realistically I don’t think it’ll happen. Not even Tekken has its own subforum and Tekken is always pretty big at EVO and whatnot. What they SHOULD do is make TestYourMight.com an affiliate site like how Shadaloo.com is. With a link on the frontpage and all that. That way, SRK can aknowledge that they’re not willing to be the MK hub, but they are atleast willing to point people int he right direction.
simple, the game is probably gonna do that thing where if you get the game USED you have to purchase an “online ticket” to use the online mode, its usually $10. now if you rent it that doesnt mean your out of luck cause you can play a “trial version” of the online mode for a set period of time before you have to pay to use the online features. however, until WB or NRS say one way or the other about this id take that with a grain of salt.
I’m hoping that’s not true. That seems so dumb.
