actually…i think your right…
I haven’t tried it, but it doesn’t make sense and I’m pretty sure you can.
Playstation has it set up, where you can put it on another console of yours, people just take advantage of it by giving it to friends. I don’t know if they would have a lock out on the content, but it goes against what they are pushing. Usually what happens is you get locked out of that content for 24 hours if it has some DRM on it.
I have PS+, and when I log on through my PSP I have access to the PSP stuff that I got through PS+.
We will find out tomorrow, but I’m sure the kids on Gamfaqs have the answer.
Well, I just read on yahoo answers that you can’t gameshare the free stuff on playstation plus. I don’t know if it means demos though. When you check you account on PS3, it shows what games have access on your system, DRM. Shows how long you have a valid license on it, but no demos ever show up in that area, only my free PSN games.
They wouldn’t and couldn’t do that, they would receive VERY BAD backlash from fans.
Also, Patrick from TRMK said It’s part of the story.
However… if you wanna go through with that bet, I’m up.
Aren’t they already receiving bad backlash from mk fans who own a 360?
Cyber Sub-Zero will definitely be on both systems.
Eagerly waiting for that Sheeva footage.
I reckon that died down awhile ago.
A character that originated from the MK universe as a disc exlusive now…THE OUTRAGE.
Especially since implication is that the character will be story-important. What ever happened to that talk about throwing a Gears character in MK9?
Random question: Any thoughts on trying to play MK9 on an SF style stick? Not sure if a new stick is in my budget right now, even though that MK stick that comes with the TE looks pretty fuckin’ good… alternative would be some kind of pad, probably dualshock w/ converter.
Plenty of people play on sf layout and have no problem. The ones I’ve talked to that have played this said it should adapt well.
No run button in MK9 and throws are two button with the left two buttons, just like SFIV. Lots of people will feel at home on their regular sticks.
I’ve gotten used to the setup that was present in MK2 on the PS3, which looks like this:
HP HK BL
LP LK BL
Might want to look into something similar when you play, Alidfe.
Yknow, i tried asking on the Evo boards and gained no response so ill ask here to at least get an idea of maaaayyyyybbee what to expect. if MK9 turns out great (apparently people who went to the truck tour liked it) then whos gonna commentate for MK at Evo? i think it should be like with tekken where we get our own people who know most of the ins and outs of the game so they can give proper commentary to the game.
i know just cause the demos good doesnt mean the rest of the game is but in a perfect world where MK9 brought us back just a little, what could we expect?
Can’t wait until tomorrow.
So tomorrow is for PS+ only/ When will this be available for non + PS folks?
A week later.
Cyber IceNuggets is on all versions of MK9.
btw, i bought an pack of avatars this morning on my account thats on my gf’s PS3.
came home to buy ps3 later on and DL’d the avatars to my ps3. it SHOULD work…
So do we have to wait until its March 8th California time or something? Or are they just releasing it whenever they feel like?
I bought PSN+ partially for this demo, but I got my moneys worth with Stacked and the other free stuff, even if it does disappear once my subscription runs out.

Since they’re going to have a Fatality Training mode, do any of you know if fatalities will be in the move lists? You know, the ones you can access when you pause.
If you guys are fiending for the MK demo, keep searching for it in the afternoon. Demos are up sometimes, but don’t show up in the store for browsing until they flip the switch, but you can search and find and download them.
Damn, MK9 wins the award for the best sound effects in a fighting game.
The demo’s out now?
