Makes sense to me. I guess I wanted Tekken notations just 'cause I’m used to them, but MK should have its own, really. Especially as MK9 looks to really put MK on the hardcore FG map.

I’ve got a question: What does changing stances actually do? From what I gather, certain moves have altered properties depending on stance in MK vs DCU, is that correct?

I am 99% sure bosses are not playable. Goro, for a fact is not, so therefore, that basically rules out the bosses as being playable.

By a good margin, I would say. The website leak had data on the likes of Ermac, Noob, Smoke, Tsung, Quanny, Stryker and a couple of others that would later be showcased in the last few weeks. So, I think it’s safe to presume that he likely knows what he’s talking about (again).

Am I the only one that doesn’t like Sheeva!? I pretty much loved the entire UMK3 and MKII cast except her. Meh, I’d rather have just about anyone. Human Smoke, Robo Smoke, or Rain for a start. Human versions of Cyrax and Sektor would be awesome also. Has there been anymore hints to Human Smoke being the game besides that audio leak?

Well, it’s a pity that you don’t, but I’m another one who likes her. :lol:

After all, she was crafted back then as a means to finally have a “toned down for normal/competitive play” version of Goro/Kintaro, and I believe she did that role just fine back in the day.

Since Goro and Kintaro look to be sliding right back in their former roles as NPC Bosses, the smaller Sheeva will likely be serving that function of being the “tone down Shokan” again. I have no problem with that.

New Stages:

  • desert stage with lots of sand blowing in the wind
  • an urban level of sorts, an earth city that is starting to be under the influence of dat uotworld or something, basically impending doom

  • aftality practice mode
  • the krypt returns, it’s dat place where you spend your hard earned points on krap

For some reason, after Assgate* in 2006, I could care less about Motaro.

*The fanbase that actually cares about Motaro’s ass got vocal as FUCK when MK Armageddonouttahere came out and he was only on 2 legs. It was disgusting to watch people get so bent out of shape over a pixelated horse ass.
