Speaking of DLC, I wonder why there isn’t a shitstorm when Skarlett’s data a good amount on disc (I’m assuming they hacked the disc to get the model, fatality, and etc) but yet MVC3 got flak for having Shuma/Jill on disc (both still incomplete to some extent).

Because Shuma and Jill were fully or at least 90%+ complete, and Skarlet is significantly less, and anyone who says otherwise is just being a fanboy?

As far as I understand it, they weren’t fully completed, and I’m not going to give some arbitary number of the percentage of completion. To me I see them being the same (incomplete) until somebody can prove to me that jill/shuma were 100% done on disc.

I’ve no intention to start any drama, but it’s rather interesting how there is this differential in treatment. Like the whole labeling and hating amongst fighting game series is beyond stupid, MK players calling MvC3 “scrubby” without any reasons, and vice versa. It’s like people want only one game to be presented at EVO or some shit.

But Skarlett does have an alibi, considering she was a NPC in Story Mode (and I believe in Kahn’s Colisseum) thus needing a model. Really don’t like the fact that they have the fatality on there, that’s really not helping said alibi.
So yes or no to tomorrow’s supposed DLC? It’s my birthday and I need an excessive amount of reasons to celebrate.

yeah, i dont really give a shit if its on the disk or not. paying for a few more characters is alright by me, even if they could have released them on the initial purchase.

Anyways, it’s because an evil spirit inside a lot of trolls wants to be justified buying fighting game A over fighting game B, because of x,y,z. Just like many politicians.
