To those who haven’t joined already: We have a Facebook group for the south (and central) MS area. Most of our meetups are posted on there and not here.
Yeah, I am going to be checking out Skullgirls for sure… but MvC3 is just so… lame. X-factor, the magic series combos that take 80% health with one super that require no skill at all, the removal of techrolling, the overall zoomed-in look of the game along with the overdone effects make it hard to even see what you’re doing half of the time… Really, I have too many reasons. After going back to MvC2 it just made me realize how much better of a fighting game it is. If you ever want to play MvC2 again, let me know! I have it on both consoles now.

Hey everyone, new guy here, name’s Ben.
I want to let anyone near Starkville know that there is a regular Friday Night Fights thing happening on the MSU campus. Things get started around 6:30 and run until midnight or so. We have been playing Marvel, 4, 3S, and a little KOFXIII. We are also planning to start a Marvel ranbat in the next few weeks. We have about 5 regular setups, controllers are encouraged and setups won’t be turned down.
We also run a concession stand with wings, hot dogs, grilled cheese, etc…It’s quite the value menu.

Sorry to intrude, but I thought I would inform/remind you guys that there is a tournament in the Memphis, TN area (Horn Lake, MS) this weekend. It’ll be featuring UMvC3, SSFIV:AEv2012, KoF XIII, and SCV. There’s a minimum of a $200 pot bonus split between the games. This is the T&G Throwdown #2. The last one in September we had almost 40 people.
