As for my views on the tournament, I also think that Keits did a shit job on running MWC. For one, I’m really pissed that XII was cancelled because no one had a copy of the game. That was my main purpose for driving way out there anyway. Also, he should have posted on SRK that copies of games were needed. If not, he knew damn well no one had a copy of that game Friday, Saturday, or early Sunday so he could have announced it then instead of the last fucking minute. I could have ran to the nearest Blockbuster or Gamestop to purchase a used copy or rent the game.
Also, I think that was really fucked up that he can provide a trophy for petty ass games like puzzle fighter, but don’t have any for KoF. Saturday was ridiculous. Thanks to him, everyone had to wait for 4-5 hours like we were on death row or something while he pushes his guy’s matches up and makes sure all of them gets time on the projector. I’ll go to another major tourney as long as that dork ain’t running it again and I don’t give a damn about an infraction. The worst part of all, after Webster invited me in for casuals Friday night, he kicks me out so F him.
The only reason why Sunday was going well was thanks to Jeff/Kurasa and his partner. I forgot his name, but he and Kurasa ran Aerial Rave '09 and did a excellent job on running that tourney and he also did a good job on running 2k2, 3S, and the ST team tourney. Mad props to them! Along with Webster, they get a 5 star rating in my book.
I woulda sparred with you if you asked. My Fuerte is a little rusty but I definitely still know what I’m doing with him.
Anyway you guys should invite me to some endless battles if you see me online - I’ve been playing quite a bit of ssf4 lately and don’t know if I’m gonna keep on playing it or not.
So for the people who went how much were the rooms per night? the whole thing was like 2 or 3 days wasn’t it? If they have this again next year, I plan to go.

Songo those brackets were fucked up. I swear how the hell did me,cher,john play all the top players 1st or 2nd match? Some people got easy as hell brackets and got far but didnt deserve to be that far. Dont worry hopefully next year will be better. I hope what happened at mwc this year wont discourage u guys form coming next year. Sorry cher, for some reason every tournament ive seen u at we somehow always play each other in the tournament. Maybe they hatin on us hmongs so they want us to knock each other out. lol but if i get my ps3 fixed soon maybe i can get some games with all you guys
