PSN on SSF4 is horrible. It lags most of the time on ranked matches (lots of scrubs on there anyways), and it’s hard to join a room someone sets up either…

I went there. Place was small. Super cabinets are just SF4 cabinets gutted out and replaced with xboxes. 50 cents gives you 4 minutes. When you’re time is up a “please reconnect controller” message appears at the bottom of the screen.
Now if you go on a night when there are a lot of people then it becomes interesting. Saw some beastly Rose players, a crazy Dudley, even a decent Ken that kept getting ex fireball fadc ultra. I beat a mashing sagat with Rose but other than that I struggled to get a win.
There is a tournament on the 12th. I’ll probably go but I want to go to the arcade in Houston.

Webster, how mandatory is Smash to have at your tourney? I had a tourney last year and the venue was VERY nice aside from the power issues. That has been fixed however (I still need to see for myself, they contacted me and said it was fixed but I’ll trust my own eyes), so how opposed would you guys be to running it at the same spot in Iowa? The reason I ask about Smash is because the scene here is huge and it took up way too many resources last time.
Well initially this tournament is a Smash Major that is at an SRK/SNK event (and vice versa :lol:). So Smash must be present at this tournament.
And the event must be in MN, because we awarded the local scene due to good attendance. Also the venue is very forgiving and that always helps with expenses.
