When it comes to SF4, my execution is so ass in tournaments, any other situation is different. Gotta find a way to play with more constant pressure to get used to it. I can’t believe I played so much Sakura, lol.

Ggs, Highly enjoyable tournament, particularly with the unexpectedly large turn-out. I certainly hope some of the newer players stick it out and aren’t frightened off. Lots of fun matches to watch throughout the night, with quite a few clutch moments. A bit sad to see my timing fall apart by the end of the night but it serves as a good reminder that I need to scrounge up a CRT and get my muscle memory trained towards that instead of the lag-happy LCD/Internet combination I spend too much time with.
Marc(uma) - it was highly enjoyable to play someone with your patience and focus, and I look forward to getting another shot at it.
Caleb - Your Ryu is still as good as I remember from watching it mangle my brother at the last tourney, but I figure we’re currently sitting on an even trade of one win / one loss. I’m looking forward to match 3 and seeing how deep that bag of tricks actually is.
Royce - It was good putting a face against the name I’ve seen online lately, thanks for the sanity saving conversation throughout the long night.
Desmond - Great job on the recording and all the work you’re putting in on the community front. Its appreciated and respected.
Songo - Please never stop going to tourneys, your trash-talking and UFC/WWE side-convos are some of the main reasons I show up.

I want to thank everyone for the support and help they gave me last night. I will have results and everything up for you shortly. I had a blast and congrats to the winners.
New players I encourage you all to stick it out and continue to get better. With the GNG we have a lot of opportunity to get better and wins some great prizes. Yes the first couple of losses burn but I am giving you the tools you need to succeed. With casuals on Tuesday and eventually Casuals on Saturday at Brooklyn Park you have a legitimate chance to get better. I encourage you all to stick with it I promise you will get better. Also keep in mind I give prizes beyond top 3 you don’t have to win the tournament to get some cool stuff. Last night I went to top 8.
Anyways thanks again guys for the support I will continue to improve and I will do my best to run good solid events for you all.

What’s up guys. I haven’t used this account for over a year. Just thought I’d stop by and say wassup. Awesome tournament last night. It was my first tournament ever, and I love the atmosphere. I’m definitely coming back for the next one. I played Adon last night if anyone saw my matches. Lost to Mark Two Tones who had an epic dudley. It was an honor fighting him, and getting my ass beat. I learned a lot about the tournament scene, and some things I should do next time, is bring a PS3 Fightpad, and come up with a nickname since it was hard to tell if Gene was calling for Blong, Tong, Vong or Pong or Dong! I might just go with my srk name. kanye shrug Anyway, awesome tournament Gene! GG’s everbody.
