Oh man, that underground Chi-town shit was the bset back in the day. Do or Die, Adrenaline Rush-era Twista, Crucial Conflict, Psychodrama, etc. Man, Po Pimp is what got me liking Twista. Twista was legit from Suicide (unreleased album that showcased his slow flow) up until even after he released Kamikaze, then everything after that has been hot trash aside from a few hot guest spots.
Yeah I actually know a few of those guys personally. I know Jeff pretty well. (Buk from Psychodrama) Resurrection the album Suicide is on is pretty good. The track One Shot One Kill on there is classic to me. My friend Sinna is still making that rapid fire Chicago gangsta shit. Look him up on Youtube under his group’s name Tre Sins or Sinna. Dude, is as fast if not faster than Twista was in his prime. Ask me anything about that old underground Chi shit and I have it.

Ah yes, Resurrection, my bad. I used to order all my Chi-town shit off this website called thetipcds.com back in the day, and a bonus they had was Resurrection if you ordered $50+ worth of product. I was on that shit so fast… Damn, bringing back memories.

I’ve listened to Twista, Do or Die, Psycho Drama, Crucial Conflict, etc etc since way back. When I lived in IL it’s all we’d listen to. I remember driving around the projects, 3am, smokin weed and listening to “3AM” by Do or Die… Most of Twista’s newer shit is wack, and I agree on the “anything made after 2002”, save a few things Jaron’s turned me on to (Wiz Khalifa, some Jedi Mind Tricks).
