I’d think with renewed interest in your respected game you would want to come out and win $. Play casuals,be social, teach people the game etc. but I have been known to be wrong before. Not to sound like a dick or anything but the 50K a year comment really just sounds like an excuse.
Foot brought up money as a motivator, my point was that it does not motivate me at all, like, at all whatsoever. It never did even when I was playing fighters seriously. I stopped playing fighters for the most part as my life doesn’t allow me free time to practice or get together. I don’t even play Magic anymore. I rarely post in this thread anymore as a result. Still doesn’t mean I can’t beast on peeps; I show up to a random fight night after months of inactivity and am streaking on people in SSF4 just because. Trust me, I may be a bit rusty, but still have all the physical and mental tools needed to destroy people.
