don’t use mines against tron period, her jump H neutralizes it for some reason. generally don’t use it against teleporters or characters that have ways of getting behind you really fast like wolverine. wesker can also shoot your landmines and grenades.
i’m glad to finally see a chris player consistently do full combos off of standing magnum and throws, nice work seany_boy. overall you have a nice team with good dhc and combo compatibility. your combos were very devastating for your opponents but there are more damaging combos that you can work on using the spencer’s assist but they are a little harder.
landmines and flamethrowers are good preemptive antirushdown tools that you should add to your repertoire against some character and especially if your cornered.
Her jump h doesn’t neutralize the mines, it just usually hits at a distance thats high enough for the mine to explode(cause chris got hit) without the explosion hitting tron. Anyone with a high enough jumping attack can do the same, the mine isn’t designed to get chris out of getting hit like dormammus flame carpet, its to buy chris space and time to set-up his offense. If tron/wolverine/whoever comes jumping in at you and you have a mine placed, you still have to block their jumping attack or your ass is getting comboed.
Yeah the mine only goes off if Chris is hit, if you block their jump in they should land right on the mine as they come out of the attack. I think if characters land a hit high enough on you as they come down the mine will miss completely, like in some instances with Tron like you said.

you never used jumping pistol it’s chris’s fastest long range move and goes over other projectiles. it really helps vs magneto’s distruptor and wesker’s ground and jumping pistol.

What exactly is that combo at 31:50? Somewhere around that Ammy assist I completely lost what happening. Too many explosions. I think there was a landmine somewhere in there.

Magneto is far more broken than just that, he can go for 100/0 mix ups using unreactable tri jumps for high / low / throw mix ups, which all leads to DHC Glitch, in which the meter needed is build in the same combo you just got served, and oh if he gets tired trying mixing you up, he can lolruptah you in the ground or magnetic blast in the air. I dont know why my friend picked Magneto and is actually kinda good with him (he just cant do the loops for long time, unlike those godlike tourney guys).

probably the most unique chris i’ve seen on video. he plays very offensively and went for resets and throws a lot but rarely used his supers to kill with chris. good use of standing magnum but didn’t do a more damaging followup other than standing pistol.
