for midscreen i was talking while using repulser as a lockdown, but it doesnt really matter cause im in agreement with you. its not going to work with that assist in game. My eyeballing was for dummy set to PB but that’s unrealistic as we know all hits will be PB’d and can adjust things accordingly. bummer, i was hoping to get that to work cause it would be a nice tool in chris’ arsenal. thanks for testing that out further,
Oh, okay. Yeah, I was trying to find some midscreen stuff as well and didn’t know what to do. I think the only way to land this would have to be after a tech roll or something like that with the opponent rolling into the grenade. I’ll test that out today. I feel you though man, I really want this to be something. Thanks for labbing it up too. I probably would’ve left this alone for a while if you hadn’t posted, haha.
So, KillaKelly and I were going at it for a while on PSN…

Here’s a FT4 money match I played against Fanatiq.

I was hoping you recorded the matches I like analyze my gameplay. As I said before I really need to use c.m more. There were situations where I should have used instead of c.l. Also, something I dont do which you were doing was land mine to cover forward tech rolls and forward air techs. I got hit by quite a few of those. I need to add that to my game cause its something I do not do. the one that made me go “WTF?” was when i techrolled forward past you and you did land mine where I rolled from. So, I hit you in the back and the damn land mine still hit me, then you were able to convert. IDK if that was intentional, but if that works consistently that’s pretty deceiving and very good. one last thing. Part 2 is actually our first set. I know because you bodied me the first few games. lol. ggs again dude and hope to play again sometime.
Oh yea, that was intentional. I use that tactic for rush down characters (Magneto especially) because even if I get it, it trade in my favor and I can convert from the land mine from that. GCYoshi had brought that up to me a few months ago when he saw my matches from playing online. We need to play again man, that was fun and it makes me think twice about the tactics I have to use against another Chris player; as well as Iron Man and Doom.
Considering your team build consist of two of Knives’s mains, I’d say you did very well. It didn’t seem like Fanatiq knew the Chris Match-up at ALL though, lol.
“Demolition Chris” is finally done. Took a while but I’m proud of it. Should be on my YouTube channel soon.

nice vid. air magnum to S is cool. I used that to try and do that one combo vsDenjin posted that went air combo to buffered nade to grenade launcher in corner or ending there. IMO, using air magnum to S makes it easier to do. damage is nice as well.

It’s surprising how well he does in tournaments, despite the fact that he does not really have any solid defensive assists, or good assists at that with his team. 1) Those of you who may be needing tips on how to fight offensively with Chris, without necessarily relying on the use of assists as much should pay close attention to his playstyle. Normally, when a pro player uses Chris, he sometimes has the advantage on certain match-ups based on the fact that the opponent may not know how to fight Chris, however Kbeast does. 2) If you pay close to attention to 5:02, that’s a very solid high jump hit confirm with Chris Redfield that you may or may not know about. I just wanted to bring that to attention since we have been focusing more on combo’s than actual ground/air game for Chris.

I’m a big fan of WindZero’s playstyle as well. Thanks for posting this AV, this really helps. I will take some notes most def.
The same youtube page (Iplaywinner) uploaded most of the matches for that event, and there are some more goodies like (Honzo vs Windzero). The particular match that I uploaded was my favorite though because, Kbeast’s team is a nightmare for Chris.

that was entertaining to watch. You can see the match-up inexperience from his opponent but as you said still good stuff. I also had no idea you could otg solo otg with land mine. I had to test it out and its pretty damn easy. thanks for posting the vid.
Yeah, I totally agree. It’s just fun to see.

I feel bad knowing that I missed you at Winter Brawl. I was pool 9 in Marvel. If you are going to Summer Jam, let me know so you and I can collaborate and get in some matches. If you play online, let me know. I have the game on both systems and we can run some sets. I didn’t think that Footwurk would change his team. Land mine assist is pretty good and I think I’ll have to run that in the near future.
