taht would mean inafune actually likes legends and is honest. If that shit got away with making Lost Planet and Dead Rising, he could have easily pushed for Legends 3 using the lost planet engine.

I really don’t like how clunky the movement looks in this game. Dashes don’t build momentum at all, just a quick burst before going back to that slow walk speed. Stage movement is mostly made up of LOTS of dashes and nothing else, it just looks so dull. And then you have to use said dash to kill enemies and damage bosses which makes it feel all the more forced.

Armored Armadillo’s stage is a great example of how well the momentum was designed in the earlier X titles. The sections where you ride the little platform, leap off of it, and cover a huge distance are so exhilarating! Even throughout the regular platforming portions of the stage, notice that X’s speed stays at a consistent pace, even as he transitions back and forth from dashing to running.
In terms of movement, Mighty no 9 is to Classic/X what SFIV is to 3S/Alpha.
If you don’t want to buy MN9 because the game itself looks bad okay that’s understandable, but if you don’t want to buy it because you don’t want to support greedy evil Inafune and you own a smart phone you’re a hypocrite. Greedy, soulless campanies make a ton of things we deem essential, it’s so silly to be selectively morally outraged. The classic example used often: Most of us hate EA, but we love Mirror’s Edge so we gave EA monies, you have to pick your poison if MN9 turns out to be a good game worth my money I’m not going to let my dislike of Inafune stop me from enjoying the game.
@“Buster Cannon” I don’t agree at all about MN9 being clunky because you can infinitely chain dashes so it’s even faster than MMX technically, but level design is another matter as this game is not trying to be an MMX clone it’s doing it’s own thing it looks more similar to Gunvolt than MMX. That that video you linked is you being straight up biased, it’s a speed run of a game that’s been out for over a decade vs a game play video of a demo of a game that isn’t even out yet, if you were to compare speed runs of the two that would be comparable, but don’t try to go Bill O’Reilly on us lol
All I’ll say is its hard as fuck being a Mega Man fan… CONSTANTLY getting screwed over, teased, and trolled… and we STILL don’t have a real Mega Man game, and likely never will…

As a big Sonic fan I get pretty heated about how SEGA handles it. Like Sonic has a set formula that niggas can fuck with. 2D Mario still fuckin sells well because it sticked to it’s originally formula.
In Sonic games we don’t need werehogs, sword fighting, and shit like that. But what makes me a bit more mad is the fact that almost every other IP that SEGA fucks with is quality. But with Sonic they just drag that nigga through the mud like that’s not their mascot nigga who damn near singlehandedly allowed to go toe to toe with Nintendo and did a bunch of other shit for them. Them niggas crazy, i almost feel like they are aware of how Sonic is a meme now and a bunch of other shit and that they purposely fuck up his games to for more meme ammo instead of more profit from games sold lol

What really sucks about Sonic is that they got the formula right with Generations, then they decide to completely abandon that formula.

I think boss weapons are still in, and maybe just not in the demo? But the plan was originally for him to transform into different modes based on the bosses, like tanks and helicopters and shit. Now he just gets different attacks, I think.
If the sub weapons are even gone now, that’s hilarious. Except not, because this fucking asshole has my money.
