He’s a business man at the end of the day. Best believe he’s going to feed off and take advantage of that Mega Man thirst. People are giving him the money. Can’t knock his hustle.
One issue he has, however, is that he’s counting his eggs before they hatch. He’s trying too hard to push this new project to the levels of Mega Man… You can’t expect a new IP to catch up to a 20+ year old series in just a few years. The man is getting way ahead of himself and, while I understand his motivation, he’s going to fail because of it.
I agree, he really could’ve given Mighty no.9 some time to breathe. I expect the game won’t get as much support given the salt (deserved salt, mind you) from the community manager fiasco. Plus, Red Ash is going to be released in episodic format (that is, if it is funded). Not sure what to think about that…
I hate it more when they go back to kickstarter when their previous Kickstarter project still hasn’t hit the market. This guy could have held off his not Mega Man Legends game for another two months.
Yea I really sacrificed my backbone by eventually buying a game I didn’t kickstart, didn’t have to deal with the community manager bullshit (I don’t give a fuck, bring it up all you want I don;t give a shit) and don’t care how Inafune conducts himself.
I care about whether the game is any fucking good or not and that is it.
The community manager is gone now, I’m hoping it was due to being pushed rather than of her own accord but I don’t see an issue with buying the game now.
