The question women should really ask themselves in relation to the megaman games is: why would you put tits on a robot?
It may not seem pertinent, but if you are designing a robot that goes into battle, you have to take many things into consideration. Putting extra things on it just for the sake of vanity is rather pointless. Please do consider that you could put tits on it if it did something; just like you could put a big ass on it if it actually did something (like hold a parachute or some shit). I guess the thing is that women like seeing tits and ass on thing as much as guys; since that is the only way to tell that some robot figure you’ll use to destroy things will be a chick. I mean, I guess Beck could have titties if they shot something. But then women would get mad because a fighting robot had practical titties.
Developers: Put more tits and ass into things so we can tell that they are female. Zero’s big green robot nipples and long hair weren’t enough for them.
Man i am so excited for this now!! I want all the goals all the prizes!
Big money! Big Prizes! I LOVE IT!!!-Super Smash Tv announcer.
Call/would be cool playable. Why not put her in as an alt with her own powers if it takes away from his vision of the game than f-it. But honestly I don’t think it would be terribly hard to do kinda like proto man and bass dlc in 9/10. Maybe it would open up a new dimension or a 2p aspect. As it did state on the page that it was his partner or what have you.
Maybe it was originally supposed to be roll and they scrapped it at the last min. but kept the design.
I just want a male version of Samus Aran, I feel like making Samus a female is excluding me personally from this game. Also there needs to be a candy crush mini game in it to help stay focused on the boring and REPETITIVE gameplay.
Just donated $300.00 on this project; Inafune as CEO and *ALSO *Project Lead on this game?Shiieeet, you know he’ll be staying up late and will be in crunch mode to get this game working as he intended it. I normally cringe at kickstarter but this is just right and just. Long Live the 2D Scrolling genre!!
Visions are malleable. Especially when a vision is shared, and especially when there are other stakeholders involved, like the people they’re asking for money. The “right reason” may well be that Inafune hears requests for a female playable character, thinks about it, says “okay sure what the hell,” and makes it a stretch goal. Or maybe he won’t, which won’t affect my pledge or my hype for this game.
ZX supposedly pandering to feminists isn’t the point. The point is I, or anyone of any race or gender, can pick a boy or a girl, which is a big selling point for some. The ZX titles were problematic games for reasons not involving having a choice of protagonist gender.
As for why I brought it up, it’s because I didn’t; the issue was brought up by others and I commented on it.
