I wish they would shut up. As a black guy I barely see character rep in single player games, I don’t identify with all those characters, do I play those games with non black guys? Yeah, Do I want them to totally rerwrite a character to fit my needs? Hell nah.
Lots of men enjoy playing as female characters in games (and level headed women don’t have an issue with the opposite). Just dumb girls echoing “feminist” talking points because they have brain washed themselves into thinking shit like this really matters.

I think we’re fine with having a white, cis-gendered, male, privileged, tax-paying protagonist named Beck. I’m not white so I want to self-insert and wish-fulfill through Beck as I destroy industrial, mechanized, labor robots and create more jobs for lower and middle class America as I use my powered shots and transformation abilities that weren’t created through tax-payer dollars and government revenue. I really like this game because it supports American interests in carbon-based energy sources and the player gets to destroy clean energy “industries” vicariously through destroying Mighty No. 2 and Mighty No. 6 (hydro-electric and wind generation respectively.) Since Mighty No. 9 is a re-imagining of the Megaman series, they should bring back and reinvent Oilman to be main sidekick for Beck Rockefeller to defeat the evil Dr. Obama and reestablish the Trust Order.
