That hit me Mega Man has been apart of my life since a kid when i had megaman toys and played the games and watched the tv show (it maybe shitty i know ) to see it fall to this level is sad.Its great to see the spirit and passion for it reemerge in Mighty Nine its the game Inafune truly wants to give the kids who grew up on Megaman the game they deserve.
Make it an option, I don’t give a fuck if the protagonist or any of the robot masters are female in appearance. We’d have to see how the character turns out first, because otherwise it’d just be another Roll situation (which is hilarious) that’ll garner negativity because she’d likely use a broom and that’ll go down like a fart in a wetsuit. BUT if it fits the character, or it’s a funky little easter egg, I’d totally be down for Call to be a costume option for the main character.

TBH I feel like this is one of those rare moments where the lead is actually better of being male, just because it strengthens his identity as the new Megaman even more so.
BUT if Beck was a girl, I really doubt it’d change our opinions and we’d continue supporting the game anyway…
