Bottom line is, I am not a comic reader, Ivy. For you to ridicule me for expressing interest in a TV show that is based off of a much larger source is uncalled for on your part. Truth is, I could give 3 shits less about the comics, simply because it is way too much reading to try to make up. So, I go for the next best thing, which is the tv series. Hell, aside from the major happenings (Crisis, Kingdom Come) who reads DC comics on a regular basis? Not cutting into those that do, but I don’t. Watching the series is a hobby. Reading 40+ years of comics to catch up with what you feel I should know is a chore.
Its not a lack of knowledge on what interests me. The comics don’t interests me. The show does. Plain and simple.

I shouldn’t have to read an 140 page story just to know what’s going on in a 30 minute show. It helps, but it’s not imparitive. Most things that are made from a comic are geared towards new audiences. I really don’t have anything else to say after that shit you put man, a lot of things slid by us, but that was too blatant.
Yeah, a lot of DC comics were shit anyways, outside of the Dark Knight series, and the 5% that wasn’t Superman bullshit or any of there other homo characters. Just my opinion though.

Yea… but I didn’t realize the stipulation to post here is you have to be from Michigan… I mean… hell this is a videogame forum… but everything under the sun but fighting games is talked about.
Outside of Tekken 5 (which is stretching it), Michigan is now left with mostly gatherings, with an arcade tournament or two on the side. There are NO console tournaments here. Going to other locales to play in tournaments (Ohio, Illinois, etc) is probably a better option, but the only one who really travels is VDO and crew.
