Well I have something to say, I am thinking about holding a little get together this coming Tusday at LTU. Last time I held this there was a very nice turn out, many from Wyne came, and other. Well that’s a dissapointment. I was looking forward to a good fighting scene up here. Guess I’ll have to find something else to pass my time while I’m living up here. Well then on an off topic. Does anyone shoot darts, play pool, or bowl? What are some good pubs/bars around here? And are there any dollar drink nights around here?
If you came here like 5-6 years ago, things would’ve been a lot different here. In general, we’ll still play, but it’s not the same; not like it used to be. There are still some noteworthy players who reside here.
As far as your other activities, you’re in luck; I just so happen to bowl and play darts. I’m waaaay out of practice on the dart game, but would play you in a game of cricket or two. The dart game is big in Livonia from what I hear. Go to All State Billiards; that’s all they sell there. And I run my own league for bowling. Here’s a rundown:
Cloverlanes = Excellent ( Tournament Quality Lanes; staff however = :xeye: )
Taylor Lanes = Excellent (Tournament Quality Lanes)
Oak Lanes = Trash (Has a good staff though)
Mayflower Lanes = Super Trash
Plum Hollow Lanes = Prostitute Trash
Westland Bowl = Okay
Plaza Lanes = Okay
Merribowl = Good
Mercury Lanes = Decent but small
Thunderbowl Lanes = Okay from what I hear, but they’re hard lanes to me
My Driveway = Better quality than Plum Hollow

That was me at Wizzard’s a while back playin’ CvS2. RC’s weren’t what they are now back then. I don’t have the funds to provide for my bowling atm. So a game or two of darts is prolly more fitting. If you’re running a league, how much a week and is there still room? Oh, and I did use Balrog, mainly as an anchor. I still think my best chars were Haohmaru and Honda.

Well I’m also wondering if anyone knows anything about any types of jobs around here. I’ve done a whole lotta different work and could get certafied in just about anything. Always get high test scores and am a really quick learner. Anyway if not, I’m sure I’ll find something decent eventually.

My league doesn’t start until mid-September, much like other leagues around here. It’s a sanctioned league for $13 a week. One time fee of $16, and teams of 4. So if you’re interested, I can pass you off a flyer once I’m done with it, which should be by the end of the week. You have basically 2 months until the league begins. And there’s always room for more teams, because our lineage fee gets lowered if we reach a certain amount of teams.
Edit: I’m sure you know by now; Wizzards Arcade closed down about 9-10 months ago.

Where and what is LTU? I kinda got the hint Wizzard’s wasn’t around anymore, but I don’t see why that caused the scene to fall off like it did up here. I’m still waitin’ to hear about dollar drink bars/pubs and what else there is to do around here that don’t break your wallet.
