IMO this is the same thing (learning glitches) Basically you wanna keep up with the trend,And hope to soon set a different trend.But if we didn’t copy what one man did before what would the world be?!? so it’s bound to happen.Site’s like SRK are designed with vids to show people how to do this stuff because the MAIN purpose in getting a game is to become better at it,That or doing the best you can do.Everybody is not a collector thou we all share the same passion for game, some of us wanna be able to compete on a high level and it’s just not possible without using info thats out there.

I"m not one to diss my elders,I"m not in anyway tryin to down you,Basically I"m tryin to get to where you are in life (fully free of what anyone else has to say) But you do put up some strange comments that can open up an aurgument.Roll cancelling isn’t even the issue now anymore, it’s the obvious that you play in a tourney to win!! (why else would you?!?) and in order to win you have to in some way hold an ability to be the best.Anything goes from block throws to glitches!!
On the topic of copying videos I just think thats kinda crazy to even talk about seeing as how the same thing is done in EVERYTHING thats got a competition base around it,do you think kobe never watched a mike jordan basketball game?!?Or the olympics team aint’ watchin the videos from four years ago?!? to me IMO it’s just that simple,you don’t really watch it to be like I’mma take this and that but you do it just to give you something to go off of.Personally for me when someone of a high level in gaming (JAPS) post a video I more so learn how the game’s engine work more so than a combo (thats what training mode is for) so I just felt like what you said was untrue about watchin vids or reading faqs thats all.
Obot’s mos def not the best player no where around but he has more passion than anyone else to become better at what he likes to play and even as of late he’s branched off to play other games.Where it used to be CVS2 now it’s ST,3S and many more,So if watchin some vids helps him become better then I back him and anyone else that does it too.
PS: SPeakin of which I"mma start watchin some tekken videos seeing as how I can’t get none of the top players here to agree to play me so I can become better.
Tekken 5 is looking good! Ill play that, at least until I get sick of being juggled.
EDIT: I almost forgot! Yesterday when i was in wizards i was sharing some information with Benny. Unfortunately he couldnt even grasp the concepts i was trying to explain because nobody had told him basic things about capcom games. Why didnt he know what negative energy was! I think its fucked up that Benny plays in that arcade 24/7 and nobody tell him shit.
The gaming community in this area is down right despicable.
And yes Benny did beat Vdo , and then went on to get a draw with Julian, after which he tanked me for the information because it was hella helpful!

There have been no shortage of info passed to Benny since he has been at Wizzards. The problem is, he doesn’t listen. Period. When he does, after a while he thinks he is better than you, and promptly gets his ass kicked on a regular basis when he calls ppl out. No one tells him shit because he isn’t receptive to it. Don’t speak on an aspect of Wizzards’ history you know shit about,k?
Also, did you mean negative edge? Honesty, I don’t know what negative energy is…Enlighten me, Obot.
If your going to tell a story, please tell it right. Benny beat VDO, AFTER LOSING TO HIM 5-6+ TIMES. And soon after he lost, I drove VDO home. Guess what? He was fucking around with him. Understand: no one takes Benny seriously, especially VDO and Julien.

ok…after 2 days of chasing the UPS guy I finally got the game.
Well, dam…I having a tough time adjusting to the turn button (which direction to face) and backround (sorta like Real Bout).
Backround I’m kinda used to from SNK games but turning is another matter. Its bad enough getting hit with a wicked combo when facing your opponent…much worse when can’t face your opponent. Also, you can hit your teammate…??
??.
These are early takes on the game…there maybe ways to turn these functions off/on…I don’t know. Gonna look into it deeper once I get back home.

There is no turning off the turn button that I know of. That game sucks because you can hit your teammate. The funny part is it has some Streets of Rage type mode where you and someone else can go through the game beating up a shitload of random enemies and stuff. Thats the only redeeming factor in the game. One of the new chars, RoboKy II, isn’t even a new char, just kind of like a create your own character type thing (think wrestling games create your own wrestler).
Ok, now back to me practicing RCs for CvS2 and glitches for GGXX, because thats ALL I do.
