I don’t do prereg just cause it’s a shit ton of effort and not accurate anyways. We have been getting fairly small turnouts for tekken (like 10-12) but this is the first East Lansing tournament so I have no idea who’s gonna show up. Could be more, could be less 
SF4 is definitely the main game at these things.
Right on AaronS I gotcha… well, reguardless of the turnout I am going. I gotta get up a** early in the morning Sat for the drive … im in Niles MI see…whew* gonna be a hellofa drive. But I got some company going with and were gonna have a good time no matter what happens. Im going to be online after work tonight around 12-1am finalizing my trip details. Well…
Today started out great and fell through hell fast. I drove over to my friends place @ 2am yesterday so that we didn’t have to drive from here in the morning and we could just take off from there and head to E. Lansing by 8am…or so we thought.
We woke up at 7:30 grabbed our showers & grabbed our stuff got in the car started said car and then…it shut off. *Sigh We then proceeded to grab some cables and give it a jump. So NOW were off…until the car shuts off. So we make like mad and borrow his sisters car to cruise as fast as possible to wal-mart and dropped 70 bucks on a battery, drove back hooked it up started the car and bam! were off. The time is now 9:30am and we are already behind schedule.
So we stop at the station drop $30 in gas, grab some drinks & snacks for the drive and jump on the highway. I wanted to bring my camera to grab some pics & videos of the event. But the SD card in my camera was too low on memory, so I called Best Buy and had them set one aside so I could just run in, grab it, pay the $14 and be on our way as we were already short on time.
Accomplishing that task we are off again. So now we are set and ready for the trip…realizing we are going to make it by a very close margin. We get to just before the Decatur exit and all the gauges go dead. CD player shuts off, Gas gauge down, Speedometer down, ABS lights come on etc, etc…*Shit!!
We stop off at the little Marathon they had there and tried to find a solution to the problem…“maybe the ground wire I forgot to connect had something to do with it.” I said. So we hook it back up start the car and we are off again…and then ? Gauges go dead , etc, etc…*SHIT!!!
So we pull right back in the station and grab a jump, remove cables and … car dies…*
Called my good buddy who was 35 min away…he brings another battery which didn’t fit. He unhooks his battery from his truck we pop it in the car, start it up and made our journey home. The alternator decided to crap out this very day. All that dedication, determination, and effort for jack shit. Now I have to go out and drop $180 on a new alt. tomorrow morning and try to get that junk in the ride before I have to be @ work by 4p.
I did say before we even got on the road, that whatever happens today it would be a day to remember… turns out I was right.
So we made it back here with our truck escort jumped down in the basement and had our own little 3 player elimination Tekken tourney.
GGs today, I’ve been playing Tekken too much apparently I honestly think that if I keep playing it at this rate then I’ll be one of the best ones we have as far as T6 goes…but it really, really hurts my SF4 game, regardless, GGs to everyone and thanks to cocomonkeh for the ride.

Yeah, I know it’s a bad matchup, but I’m confident that I could have beaten you, had I not been playing Tekken for 3 days straight and not touching SF, my execution was off all day, hopefully I’ll see you back in EL in a month, I’ll be sure to practice beforehand this time

So I like how I was all excited to make it to Saturday’s gaming for once until my boss slapped me with a Saturday shift because someone else wants to go to their godkid’s stupid shit. Man, LAME.
Probably 2 weeks after the tourney this weekend. Still gotta talk to FRAG Center to 100% confirm it, but you can pretty much count on that.
