At my work female staff represents 95% of the call offs, and this results in a huge amount of male overtime. Which in turn causes a significant disparity in male vs female income, which the women then cry sexism over even though they don’t want to work the overtime anyway. Hell, they won’t even work a 40 hour week most of the time, how the fuck are we going to get any OT out of them? Not to say I don’t have a few good female coworkers, but they are definitely not the norm.

There was a recent study that mention that women may not be able to handle the 40hr work week. It mentioned women getting depression, cancer, flus, and all sort of other illnesses when a woman had to do 40+ hours. Men on the other hand didn’t have this problem.
In my line of work it’s the same. Women will frequently try to get out of their shifts. After a while they get pregnant and have to be periodically replaced. They also tend to be unreliable at what they do but that’s another thing. The rule of thumb is avoid hiring women at all costs. The bullshit is endless.
What do you do?
