Agreed. I still think that XLB/PSN is utter trash, which is why I spend most of my time doing public/private sessions. Once MGL grabs one or two SF4 cabs, I guarantee you guys will see me there A LOT.

You promise to deliever? Or everyone helping you out plans to help deliever? Anyways, Sunday is by far the better day. If people are serious about playing a game it shouldnāt matter which day it is. Although you may try to accomidate to everyone, remember you canāt. You only can do what is in your control. Players have to give and so do managment. Neither side will win if both canāt agree. So if they want it on a sunday then so be it. If players want to play they will show up. If they donāt want to then itās their right and privilage.
This is what Iāve been missing, a legit arcade experience to go with SF4 and the new games coming out. The past few weeks Iāve been hitting up SJSU just to get a taste of it. When this comes through lifeās gonna be good

I use to go here regularly for BB practice and Mahvel scrubstomping, I think last time was like 2 months ago.
Iām gonna play devilās advocate if I was the manager for MGL. MGL does not make NEARLY enough money to warrant buying a SFIV machine. I donāt think they even made it back for BB, and this was when the game was spanking new. They arenāt UC Davis or SJSU, those placed are backed with major bank.
I mean, Iām just viewing it in a business point of view rather than a SFIV fanās point of view. I think itās a good arcade, a lot of good Norcal T6 heads go there.
Itās because they didnāt have the scene to back it up. If they get SF4 though there will be a scene, no doubt about it
They let all the players go away, it was their own damn fault the scene left town. The fighting games broke down and Iād show up a week later and shit would still not be fixed, gets kind of old and weāre lucky enough to live in an area with a lot of arcades around.
Fuck theyād still have people for the rhythm games coming every week if they actually bothered to take care of the machines. I loved me some Drummania and PIU, but the machines sensors were always busted because only Paul knew how to replace anything and they were too cheap to buy new shit ('cept like every 4-6 months).
tl;dr version - taking care of what you have = good customers coming back over and over
