Considering it’s still in the development stages, it’s a little premature to speak about whether it will be here. I just like the idea and would welcome a new VS. title into the gameroom (SVC is holding its place in a big screen). First it has to go into production.

Love the normal cost for games there. You do the locals (and sharp tourists) proud.
I went there a while back & won 3S w/Remy ( hadn’t played in quite a while- since the Europe trip a year ago).
The CVS2 is here but the control panel is JANK.
It will have to be re-built and that will take a few days cause I’m swamped with work. And I have to find graphics for the top. So this realistically may take up to a week to complete.
I just can’t put it out in the condition it’s in now.

I hope tournies are right around the corner… this could be great for the SF/Bay Area scene if we can get something going on a monthly basis.
I have enlisted one of my trusted employees to begin the tournament process.
I hope to be going with them after Labor Day. The frequency of tournaments will depend on attendance.
On a side note, does anyone have some SF or SNK artwork they would like to contribute to the full restoration of a CVS2 cabinet? I work in a collage style and would like to trick out this cabinet with some nice control panel artwork. Anything will do, tattered posters, an old CVS2 Prima Games guide, anything high resolution (copies of web gifs don’t count).
I can probably find plenty, but it may take me longer to have the stuff shipped. I want this to be a really sharp looking game.

There is no guarantee a coin-op version will even be produced. This comes from Capcom of JP. No matter what, we won’t see anything until 2009.
