I have to agree with this man. How long does it really take to get your stuff together. Metreon is focused on there ticket mechines and nothing else. Real talk there has to be someone who lives in the Sf area who’s house we could just kick it at. I say we as a fighting community ban metreon until one of two things happen
1st They lower the prices on the games 2 to start and one to continue or just one token.
2nd Fix the damn 3s cab and get working Mvc2 and Cvs2 cab aswell
And this is just for magt. I was there last week and got really upset with your decision to take the chairs away from the people playing 3s. you have the chairs for the games on the counters that no one was playing, but felt like taking away the chairs from the people playing your broke ass 3s mechines (me). In my opinion the people spending their money desever alot more respect.
Ok I am calm, but in all honesty support Sfsu I would hate to see what happen to the bearcade happen to Sfsu.
I agree as well, spend ur money at SFSU at least the damn joysticks work. I know some people can’t make it mid day but durning the semester we could have people plan to meet in the afternoon, since the arcade stays open till like 930pm. I know next semester i’ll proly be there till the evening on most nights, minus fridays of course.
I thought SFSU closed at like 7pm or something?

Now heres a plan. whom ever has been to Sfsu knows that there is a Tv down there and chairs. All we need to do is Get a Game system and some sticks and we have a place to kick it depending on what time they close that would be the perfect place to hangout. This Friday I am going to try it out I am going to take my Ps2 down there and hook it up to the big screen. If you’re in the you can catch me doing this on friday. If this sounds like a good idea then let me know or if it sounds like somthing that no one would be interested in the also let me know. Vending Mechines microwave what else could you ask for?

I’m not surprised that the new Metreon sucks just as much as the old one. I remember people bitching about how crappy the Metreon was a few years ago, when I went there. Games like Marvel costing dollars with controls that were unplayable. That’s seriously laughable…especially when compared to ghetto arcades I’ve played at, being far more consistent with fixing damaged sticks and buttons.
It sucks to hear that the new Metreon isn’t good. It’s location is more appealing to me than SFSU’s.
metreon has plenty of potential… if only they can get things done right.
Well during the semester it’s not a big deal, but there’s this summer break where peeps don’t really have a choice but the metreon. It’s simply open later.

I know one guy on the inside who says they are trying to fix the sticks, but no parts. I’m just gonna keep on bugging ‘em since I’ve got no other fuckin’ choice.
