I’m having 2 “custom” built cases by them - 1x vewlix style and 1x umk style - we’ve been collaborating on the build and he/she has been really open to my ideas.
He really wants to know what the community wants built, so he can add on to the already solid/slick design he has come up with. i’ll let you guys know how it turns out. B)
Check out his facebook page - word of warning have something to catch the drool outta your mouth when you do.
I’m still working on my build (just waiting for some buttons to come in), but my initial review of my V2 case so far is great! I love the feel/weight of it, easy to work and has everything I need for my layout inside and out.
Once I have everything in place I’ll post a picture, but again, this is great. I’ve also been in contact with him over Facebook and its been great so far.
I just ordered mine. Aaron has been a pleasure to deal with. Awesome customer service. He answered all my questions and then some. Can’t wait to get my hands on this.
You should ask @Allfightsticks directly, he’ll be able to tell you what they currently have available or maybe give you options. I know for a fact that it’s not limited to what they have on their eBay store.
i’m shifting from black body/grey sides to low gloss body/gloss black sides since the black on black would match a heck of alot to any artwork i’d put on. i’ll let you know how it turns out.
visit his facebook page and message him. He is working on a batch of builds right now and has said that he is trying to offer different options to the consumer, it’d definitely have to be made to order and may have additional costs.
@inori Currently we suspect you can attach it to one of the stand-offs on our removable PCB plate and support the other corner with an adhesive tab. We need to purchase those boards and will be updating the PCB plate in the near future to support one or both of them. The updated plate will be sold separately ($5 w/ free shipping) so people can upgrade their existing sticks. The current gen PCB plate supports PS360+, Brook UFB and the Zero Delay PCB. The standoffs are removable and you just put them in the holes that correspond to your PCB.
Here are some pics that show the modular makeup of the case (Gen3) including the current PCB plate.
Lots of people have been asking about the button layout panel. It is made of steel. You can get it in 1/8" acrylic if you want to reduce the stick weight or make it stand out with some cool translucent colored Plexi. We also have an optional 1/16" clear acrylic panel to cover your artwork or keep those fingerprints off your gloss black top.
The standard steel button layout panel can be wrapped in vinyl, the neighbor kid can draw on it with Sharpie, or you can go with traditional paper artwork and a Plexi cover. All the acrylic tops are custom made by @arthong at Tek-Innovations and he can print and laser-cut your artwork as well.
Wanted to wait until the joystick was done and the person it was made for got a chance to use it.
Both of us agree this case feels great. Again I mentioned before, but the people that have used it love the weight of it, and feels good in your lap.
Since I was the one building it out, I had no issues working on the inside with it. Again I was working on V2 of his case, so I assume the newer ones just have some extra layout options and an extra button hole at the front for the PS4 users who want a touchpad button.
I have another case I’m working on now, but again couldn’t be happier and he was easy to get a hold of on Facebook.
