When Big Boss starting riding the horse around, I thought “What am I watching, Skyrim?” lol~ Sutherland as Big Boss sounded pretty all right. Seems like a good inbetween of Hayter and Richard Doyle (BB’s VA in MGS4). Quit hatin’.
“Nanomachines, son.” is a lot like chuck norris jokes, in that just because it is one doesn’t make it funny <_<

Also towards the end of the trailer, Kaz is missing his right arm & left leg.

Shouldn’t these games mark the end of Metal Gear Solid? I can’t imagine any more story left to tell between TPP in 1984 and MG’s 1995.
I wouldn’t be shocked to find out Sutherland turns out to be someone other than BB. In one of the Phantom Pain demos, didn’t he voice the face- bandaged guy guiding BB through the hospital?
Probably remake MG 1 and 2, and possibly Solid, then just continue after 4.
Pretty sure Eli is Liquid, which shouldn’t be a surprise. Around the time the game takes place Liquid/Solid would be around 12, meaning Snake would be in his early/mid 20s 10 years later when he joined FOXHOUND.
That, and a quote from Liquid in MGS1 is “In the Middle East, we don’t hunt foxes, we hunt jackals.”
The only thing that doesn’t make sense is that its stated he was raised somewhere else not in the middle east, but Koji would probably fill in the gaps

Yeah this is the first time I’ve had trouble watching an MG trailer. This game is probably going to be the most emotionally heavy in the series.
Those kids…

Also, little tidbits:
Ocelot was torturing Emmerich in the trailer. Quiet, the sniper, was as well (going off of her leggings, her in afganistan took place after her torture. Kaz lost both an arm and a leg and possibly an eye during his torture.
Ocelot working with Big Boss makes you question if Emmerich betrayed Big Boss or vise versa.
Quiet, seems to have something going on with her eyes. When it zooms to her face, there are black marks around her eyes and under them (at first looking like makeup) before they suddenly disappear.
Kids are hurt and killed all throughout. Big Boss and others are seen going through a kid’s organs to pull out C4, another kid is tortured before being shot and killed, and perhaps the most shocking moments are one scene of Big Boss choking a child and possibly shooting a cage full of children.
Edit: One more thing. At the end, BB mentions that Cypher (I’m sure you all know who that is but won’t say just in case you haven’t played PW) is looking to create a weapon stronger than Metal Gear or something. Now, this is a HUGE shot in the dark, but what if that weapon is Solid Snake or any of the clones? They DO take down Metal Gears easily and are technically speaking, more dangerous than those weapons (even if strictly speaking, they’re just humans). Of course this is most likely not the case at all.
