Finally played Ground Zeroes the other day. Clearly skipping MGS 3 & 4 was a bad idea - I’m terrible at it! 
could have gotten away with skipping 4, lol at the threat of much anger I would you say would do well to skip 4 altogether anyway
GZ does a great job of summarising mgs3/PO/PW so its not a massive loss if you read all the info your given in game

compared to other mgs games. by itself its a decent game.
Well, by comparison it’s not even close to my favorite MGS game.
But it’s still an important piece of the series, and a great game in itself.
important how? MGS4 was the weakest entry in the series and am not even bitter about old snake. Nanomachine tom foolery just went too far, they fucked ocelot and I honestly could give no fucks about all the introduced characters.
As a stand alone game sure it was pretty cool, but as the conclusion of the most epic game series that happened? Shiat…
I don’t think there is any conclusion that would make you people happy about MGS4. There’s no way a definite conclusion to a series this massive would be clean cut and/or satisfying to all the different parties that make up the MGS fandom.

Man why they make another game with Raiden in it smfh, they could have put Sasaki in the lead role and it would have made the game bearable enough for another playthrough at least :shakeshakeshake:
