I feel like Snake didnt have much talking to do in Ground Zeroes in the first place. But hey, if you wanted to know whether or not Kaz has the same voice actor then you’re gonna be hearing that guy all the time.
Snake talked to Chico, and then the rest of what he said was after you already left the island if I remember correctly.
Also if I’m not mistaken Kevin wanted to retire but David is still ok with the part. I don’t get what prompted hideo to bring in a Hollywood actor who has nothing to do with metal gear.
Yea he doesnt say a lot for sure, from memory he talks to kaz at chico, halfway through the base, paz then ofc ending scene. Also if you download the trailer for PP you get with the code then ofc you hear him talking to ocelot for a bit.
kiefer sounds more emotional than hayter ever did. esp when he says “kaz, im already a demon” he sounds exasperated, tired. hayter never had that emotional depth in any of the mgs games.
Hayter was iconic as Snake, and his work in MGS1 and 2 will forever be a classic. But by the time Peace Walker ended he had really degenerated to a caricature of himself. He sounded less like Hayter and more like someone doing a bad imitation of Hayter. I’m on board with Kiefer 100%, the subtleties he brings to Big Boss are excellent. Snake is less gruff and hardboiled and more human now.
You don’t remember him from the FaceBook movie? LoL
I would agree though. I’m starting to get sick of HollyWood’s casting choices of late. I’ve had
zero interest in this ridiculous ‘reboot’ of the SpiderMan movies just so they could keep going.
Toby McGuire was perfect.
Anne Hathaway as CatWoman? -_-
Ben Affleck as Batman (I’m gradually getting over it) but…
This Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman? Really? REALLY? Fucking goddamn. Wonder Woman is a flipping
amazonian who can kick ass—not a hardly-English-speaking skeleton. Fuck you HollyWood.
I’ll miss David Hayter, but Sutherland was a nice choice. Kojima knows his shit.
